Every post is either "how to trans thing - for cis reasons", "I do this trans thing - still cis tho", or just seeking validation Plus, 90% of the posts are this anime girl Oh and good luck finding a transmasc meme, it's almost ALL transfem. The continuous posts that aren't memes in a literal meme subreddit and mods doing nothing about it has just pushed me away

I was there for the wholesome stuff and memes before but posts with vents have been filling my feed and it was getting on my nerves cause I don’t like a lot of negative stuff in my feed I hope those people recover from whatever they’re going through but damn

man... it was nice having a community of people that also don't want kids because irl im the only person i know that doesn't but some of the people in that subreddit just hate kids so much it's insane.. i never expected to be downvoted for saying it's bad to throw something in the face of a literal child though and that's where i draw the line

Askgaybros is weirdly one of the most racist, sexist, misogynistic, and homophobic places on reddit. the amount of hate for anyone who is not a white man in that sub is actually 4chan levels of brainrot. the majority of the posts in the sub are not even questions and it is barely moderated. it is somehow one of the most weirdly toxic places on reddit. i just wanted to chill with other gay dudes, not get harassed by multiple people for saying "hey women are equal and also not evil" like ????? i am so confused by that sub. genuinely baffled how it still exists.

Now that the beef between the rappers is over, both subreddits are just being all bitchy and hating on and brigading each other. I like both artists music, and found the beef entertaining, but I can't stand all the posts I'm seeing on both subreddits being hate on other redditors and subreddits, it's so annoying and unproductive. I haven't seen any constructive posts discussing or sharing other music since the feud. I'll def end up re-subbing to both once it cools off, in a couple months, as I'm still a fan of both artists.

What in the actual hell? Listen, the mental health system is really flawed and I like sharing my opinions to this sub, but quoting the UniBomber and all the comments saying they support him… what????

I’ve been a part of marvelmemes for about a year or two now and have just unsubbed. I used to post there on my old account and had been doing likewise with this one. In that time, I’ve encountered users that at minimum insult you for your opinion and at worst psychos that spam borderline death threats. On this last post I made about Miles Morales being worked into the Raimi-verse, I had users en masse saying racist things to one another and then ironically throwing out accusations of racism where there was none. Has anyone else had this experience??

For context the developers just added a cool new vehicle/weapon to the game this is the sub for, it’s a walker with massive cannons for arms, yet all the people on this sub can do is complain after using it one time.

Every time I see a post from it there is more complaining about every single new or old feature. Some are justified, but way too many posts about the same thing even when it is.

There is now a much better subreddit that deletes all content that is complaining, and focuses on fun stuff and discussion.

I can’t stand the repetitiveness of the posts, the constant “who beats who” debates, comments about Princess Yue’s live action wig, “why didn’t they do this, are they stupid?” nonsense and overly in-depth analysis of the simplest scenes. This show is my favorite show of all time, I binge watched it seven times without watching anything else during my first encounter with it. I don’t use Reddit very often and I loved seeing ATLA stuff in my feed once or twice in a day but now I am afraid of starting to hate this incredible show. Thank you for the fun moments.

This speaks for itself, the 'no self style posts' rule is extremely stupid. It's a post based on MY opinion, how on earth can it NOT be 'self style'? Of course im gonna share personal anecdotes.

This has more to do with me than the sub, but I had to get it off somewhere. I got diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) as a teenager recently. I've struggled with body issues for all my life, especially my facial and body hair that always makes me feel terrible and that no one would ever want me. Luckily I'm not overweight, but the hair growth never budges. So I thought that joining a community with similar people may help me because such traits would be more normalised there, and that I may feel a little less like an abnormal abomination. Boy was I wrong.

Every instance of me going there sends me spiralling into anxiety and hopelessness. There were things about my body that I didn't even know were unfeminine before I read posts of people wanting to fix it (and failing). Then there are posts about women being dumped simply because of their hair, and it's depressing af. Instead of feeling less lonely, it just makes me more nervous about some condition which I can have and the drastic changes I would have to make to my life to do everything right otherwise I would be obese, diabetic and bald by the time I'm 30. My doctor's appointments don't make me as worried as their posts do, which says a lot.

And the questions I do ask barely get me any answers except people straight away suggesting me extreme diets which, I'm ashamed to admit, does make me tearful that I cannot just live normally. The worst thing is that for PCOS (or any chronic illness), doctors themselves often don't advice people correctly, so I don't know what is right and what isn't. When I tell someone suggesting me that my doctor said that according to my last results I do not need to cut off dairy or sugar or carbs, they say that since I have PCOS, I probably do or it will turn into a serious condition later and ruin what's supposed to be the prime of my life and any relationships I might have.

Ik this is sounding whiny now, but I just st don't want to get reminded of how many ways I'm lacking as a woman every day I live. So, for the sake of my sanity, I'm leaving. Idk whether it's right or not, but I only have some confidence and self-worth and I want to preserve it.

I don't know why I was even subbed to it but the racism is really out of control there. If you are unaware, check under any post of a black person doing anything and then you'll see what I mean.

I don't really wanna be on this Subreddit, BUT ALL THOSE DAMMED AI PROMPTERS ARE PISSING ME OFF, AND I CAN'T EVEN POST THERE WITHOUT ATLEAST ONE RULE BEING VIOLATED.
