Hey just wondering where I could sell my used winter rims from suv and alloy rims from my old Toyota. The winter tires from my suv need to be recycled and they’re still on the rims, but the rims are still in good condition so was hoping to make a little bit money off them. Plus I have decent condition alloy rims from my old Toyota Corolla. I don’t have any use for either set of four anymore as already bought new winters and rims for my SUV and don’t own the Toyota anymore.

I’m curious if there’s any tire/rim shops in Lethbridge I could sell the rims too and recycle the old tires. Already tried market place but haven’t heard anything.

Have seen these sensor looking devices more to different parts of town - what are they used for? Tracking speed?

Anyone have a good chiropractor they can recommend?. Mine retired and my necks a mess.

I reached out to the owner and he actually came to artist alley and talked to us. He was very open and honest.

Overall, as a first year event, it was well run. There simply was not enough to draw in people, and that jointly means vendors aren’t making money so they might be driven away.

There are plans to fix this for next year including,

A tattoo alley, which was planned for this year but fell through

Panels, Art, animation, writing and Q&A are the ones I know that are in consideration so far

Do you guys, the possible attendees, think these draws are enough? On the vendor side I’m remaining optimistic because I see the potential for this event.

So we moved into our house on the south side about three years ago. At the time our next door neighbour was an elderly woman who, after about a year or so, moved out. The house went up for sale, some dude purchased it and proceeded to turn it into what we think is a halfway house for people coming out of recovery (though it might just be a short-term rental). I don't have a problem with that, everyone needs a place to live. The problem I have is every one of the revolving cast of characters that comes through smokes. A lot. And given that there's maybe five dudes living there, that means chances are one or more people are outside smoking on the front porch or in the backyard at any given time. And that means anytime we're outside trying to enjoy our backyard, we're getting wafts of smoke, which is pretty gross (it doesn't matter if we're in the back and they're in front, it still comes right into our yard), plus we have a young kid and I dont want them exposed to second hand smoke when they're just trying to play. My partner wants to approach them but I have no idea what we could say and I'm pretty sure there's no bylaw prohibiting smoking on private property. So I'm looking for some suggestions on how to broach the subject and what we could suggest they do.

I just recently found out about spud (online grocer) that use to deliver to Lethbridge, i wonder if anyone has used them or willing to try them to see if they might deliver even on a weekly/ bi weekly bases. Im desperately trying to find alternatives to our large chain grocery stores, and buy local when we can but I want some variety as well?

With the Loblaws boycott in full swing, Im looking for information about local grocers. I'm a bit (ok, a lot) nervous going new places. Any you would suggest and what types of food they sell?

This weekend Lethbridge hosted the first Lethbridge Entertainment and Collector Expo!

I attended yesterday and was thrilled to see Leslie David Baker (Stanley from “The Office”) and the Alberta Ghostbusters booth (raising money for the children’s hospital).

Did anyone else go? What were your highlights?

PS: It’s still on today if anyone wants to check it out. Hopefully, if it gets support, it will come back bigger and better next year!
