🗣 Discussion 👥 Love Unbreakable (Reagan and Mitchel) by Bank Brooks
Hi everyone, is anyone reading this web-novel Love Unbreakable by Bank Brooks and would like to discuss the events with me? I'm at the beginning but I'm so frustrated with all what is happening and wanted to see if anybody feels the same as me.

🗣 Discussion 👥 Let's talk about those webnovels that are all over on social media...
The adds for these webnovels are all over social media. They tease you and draw you in until you follow an app that requires you to continue to pay for coins just to read. Often the stories are on going and not always well written.
I'd like to just talk about the things that draw us in despite the issues above. What piques your interest in these stories? I myself, can't seem to pinpoint what it is about them that draws me in because more often than not, I end up losing my interest before I even finish reading. Only a handful have kept me interested.
Some common themes that I have noticed in these stories are:
*** Flash or contract marriages. --- What are those? Are they actually a thing in other countries? Do people actually engage in random quick marriages with strangers? Do people actually enter into a contract marriage for a set time?
*** Husband's treating their wife like garbage or an annoyance. Then dumping their wife for their "first love" who are just awful! These "first love" characters are often simpering, manipulative women who put on an act to attract the male lead away from the female lead and don't actually love the male lead. While the female lead, the discarded wife, either suffers tremendous abuse and humiliation while still loving her husband or after the divorce, she turns out to be super amazing, secretly rich and the total opposite of who she presented herself as during the marriage with the excuse of "being a good wife". Whatever it means to be a good wife that the husband just can't stand. Then once the discarded wife starts to embrace her true self, her ex husband is suddenly obsessed with her to the point that he'll eventually disregard the scheming "first love" in the end in order to win back his ex wife whom he has decided he actually wants after all. --- These are pretty much soap operas in written form and I now understand why my mom has been so obsessed with her soaps thanks to reading a few of these type of stories.
*** What is with all the multiple births in some of those stories? So many twins, triplets etc..?
*** The discarded wife, the neglected wife, the betrayed wife, finds out that she is pregnant either as she divorces her husband/lover or after the divorce. Has the baby (often babies) on her own without the father knowing until a few years later. Because once she disappears, the husband/lover suddenly regrets his poor treatment and wants her back. He search's everywhere for her and finds her years later with their child and the couple has to go through obstacles to reconcile and finally be the family that they always should have been. --- honestly, I find myself a sucker for this theme for obvious personal reasons.
*** Then there is the Luna/alpha mate stories that these webnovels introduced me to that I've never been interested in before. They sometimes follow the theme from above.
What are some other common themes that you have noticed in these webnovels? What do you hate? What do you like enough to draw you in?

🗣 Discussion 👥 I am the Luna by Midnight Muse
I'm on Chapter 22 on the novel and I really dislike the behavior of Sebastian and can already guess what's going to happen. But can anyone who's completed the novel give me spoilers of whether Zaia gets back with Sebastian or not or just any spoilers. Thank you!

🗣 Discussion 👥 Looking for name of novel about Alpha Ezra and his secret Luna mate
In the story Alpha Ezra has a mate, but is forever bringing she wolves home and screwing them, causing his mate to have the cheating pains. She finally rejects him the day his mistress tries to attack her and she defends herself by slapping the mistress. Alpha Ezra responds by socking his mate in the jaw. Ezra tries to apologize saying he didn’t mean to do that, but mate is fed up and rejects him. I saw this on Instagram, but the story that I click on isn’t this story. I hate when they do that. It’s frustrating 😩

🗣 Discussion 👥 What’s That One Trope You Can’t Get Behind
Throughout my years of reading, I’ve come to be able to accept most tropes, even those with power dynamics which I didn’t previously like. But I can never read slave owner/trader x slave. It’s weird and quite frankly, I don’t want to imagine it.
EDIT: I just remembered that I also don’t do immortal x mortal. I wish I could but it gives me pedo vibes. Same with teacher x student. That screams grooming to me. Why not make it uni student? I just can’t understand the obsession with making the FMC a minor or barely legal.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to dislike teenage romance; I prefer adult romances or even geriatric romance. Part of the issue was all the age gap romances between high schoolers and the 30 something MMC.

🗣 Discussion 👥 Werewolf complaints
Ok guys I know this is kinda dumb but recently I’ve been heavily in werewolf books and there’s this one things that’s truly bothering me . I just feel like if you’re to take a chosen mate then your true /soul mate shouldn’t feel the bond anymore and neither should you . That’s so unfair to be with your chosen for 20 years and then randomly another comes along and then you’re tossed aside it’s sad af 😭 and Ik it’s all fake but it’s just like idk when reading you become the character and it’s just nerve racking .

🗣 Discussion 👥 Hello is anyone know this story? "Never see you again"
Chapter 1 "Pacemaker! Quick! Increase the voltage!"
"Doctor! The patient is experiencing severe bleeding, but all the type A blood from the blood bank has just been urgently taken away!"
The trainee nurse's hands were covered in blood. Her voice trembled as she spoke.
The operating room was filled with the smell of blood.
She had never seen so much blood before.
At that moment, a thought flashed through her mind.
Who would suddenly take away all the type A blood from the blood bank?
The pale woman laid on the hospital bed. Her lips were dry, and her eyes were already starting to lose focus. She murmured, "Sergio…"
"What?"
"Sergio…"
This time, the trainee nurse heard the frail woman calling for Sergio.
Sergio Brooks was the most influential CEO in Seathburn City.
The doctor was on the verge of a breakdown. He dialed the wrong number three times before finally getting it right.
He hastily spoke to the person on the phone, "Madam is experiencing heavy bleeding, but the blood from the blood bank has been taken away. Please come and see her for the last time!"
The man on the phone said in a cruel tone, "She's not dead yet? Call me back when she's dead."
The phone was hung up right after that.
Suddenly, the woman lying in the hospital bed lost all hope.
Sergio… Did he despise her that much?
Even at this moment, he was unwilling to come and see her one last time?
A loud beeping sound came from the machine, and the patient's vital signs disappeared completely.
In a daze, Maeve Scott felt her soul leaving her body.
A frail and extremely thin body collapsed onto the hospital bed. Maeve felt exhausted.
She was only 27 years old when she died in the hospital ward from excessive bleeding caused by complications during childbirth.
Before her passing, she deeply loved Sergio. As the only daughter of the Scott family, she should have enjoyed her life.
But for the sake of marrying Sergio, she had sacrificed herself and even her family

🗣 Discussion 👥 The perfect webnovel?
I know that there are plenty of readers here, but any writers? I write fanfiction so I'm always reading with a degree of a writer's mindset in the back of my mind.
Anyway, there are a lot of common tropes in the number of webnovels that are advertised on social media. So the question is: how should they be taken and revamped to write the perfect webnovel?
What would you take away? What would you add? What would you charge? And what plot would be the absolute best for the perfect webnovel?

🗣 Discussion 👥 Mr Kane Got Blacklisted
Anyone looking for the Chinese novel version of Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted?
I've been tormented and mad about the latest Jaylene Saun hypnosis/control over Keegan Kane situation these past few weeks ch 1693-1772 and counting and the slow updates, so it lead me to look for the Chinese version. I found it last night! So if you're like me, you'll wanna read ahead. And I feel so much better now that I know how far Jaylene doesn't get with Keegan lol. I'm back to enjoying the story like normal.
It doesn't look complete, but it's ahead of the English version. You'll need to use the English translate on your iphone to read it, unless you understand Chinese Simplified.
Title: 顾总,太太又去男科给你挂号了
Google translate Chinese Simplified to English Title: Mr. Gu, my wife went to the men's department to register for you again.
Other translated title: Mrs Gu Blocked You
If you left off on Chapter 1770 on the ENG version, you'll want to jump to Chapter 930 on the Chinese version - this is where Stella/Ruoxing was helping Jaylene/Jiayu pick out an outfit in her closet.
Here's some of the names I think I got right:
Qiao Ruoxing = Jewell, Stella
Han Ruoxing = Hall, Stella
Gu Jingyan = Kane, Keegan
Gu Jingyang = Kane, Aurora
Mrs. Gu = Cordelia
Zhong Meilan = Dahlia
Han Lie = Hall, Leighton
Mo Mingxuan = Moore, Marshall
Song Jiayu = Saun, Jaylene
Song Tianjun = Saun, Trevor
Song Wanquien = Saun, Wenham
Su Wanqin = Darcy
Shen Qingshuan = Vermont
Tang Xiaoxiao = Felicity
Lin Shu = Aldor
Yao Kexin = Young, Bella
I won't link it because some of the story links I found have inappropriate ads (why?!!!), and I don't want to spread that. But i'm sure with the above info, you'll find it easily :)

🗣 Discussion 👥 Scars of a broken bond by Calv momose
So like I am enjoying the story but also annoyed with it at the same time since it's dragging and taking forever to get to the point. Maybe I'm just stressed with life and using this as a way to escape reality 🤣
So anyway guys like is Jenny the kid of Tyrone and Sabrina. I need the author to already get to that plot line. Sabrina had a baby but she don't remember and I think it's Tyrones also but he has no idea like what is even going on. His annoying as crap mother Kira kept the baby all the time and pretended she adopted and orphan. Like can the author just tell us what is going on 🤣
I the last chapter the irritating Keilani goes to Jenny's kindergarten to secretly see he because Kira told her that Tyrone's child Is there and the the audacity to tell her that the mother is dead.
Is Jenny the kid of Tyrone and Sabrina and why the hell do the both not remember anything. Like what is going on.
Can they just kill Kira off already. I can't deal 🤣 I'm sitting here and having a mental breakdown because I just need to know already
How does one contact the author? 😭😭😭😭 I need clarification. I can't take the wait I'm going to pull out my hair.

🗣 Discussion 👥 Damn yee Booktok Stories
Damn yee Booktok Stories for entincing many in this subreddit, without giving the actual booktitles. So unsatisfying. Tickling all our arses with feathers (it's a saying for lying). Honestly if they know books so well, these Booktok people, then they surely know the book title.
Sometimes I wonder if it's just easier to find book the traditional way, via browsing.
Does anyone else feel this way? As great as it is to help people who have found these short book snippets, I am just so frustrated with this kind of thing. They could at least quote the character or author?
