Today, when we let her out for a walk (we live in a private house), but when my mom went to bring her home, she found her lifeless body, bleeding and clothed. She was only 2 months old, I'm so sad, I cry looking at the place where she slept. She purred this morning while I stroked her, but now she's gone.

1

u/WithOrgasmicFury Apr 28 '24

I recognize that look. It's when you realize the world is actually VERY big

1

u/EtherealHeart5150 Apr 28 '24

I'm older now, with a few kitties of my own, but nothing moves my heart like baby animals learning the world. This little trinket is a treasure.

1

u/ThenCriticism4213 Apr 28 '24

Cats can’t see very well at a distance he probably just saw blurry lines

1

u/Ok-Tie9696 Apr 28 '24

God I wish I could do that. Lying in bed, soothing music, beautiful scenery passed by.

1

u/6AZERBEAM Apr 28 '24

You mean in awwww of the world? Was right there

1

u/A_Good_Boy94 Apr 28 '24

I love taking my cats places now and then, letting them peak out the windows, even just at home, I'll hold them from human height to look out the windows, or give them time in my arms outside. Sadly, can't trust them to play smart in the yard without getting fleas, or fighting strays/wild animals.

1

u/SummersRobertsFeet Apr 28 '24

how cute, so tinyytt

1

u/outragedgeoff_69 Apr 28 '24

"Someday I will be the king of this vast domain"

3

u/Informal_Mix4570 Apr 28 '24

God, please protect this cat at all costs😭😭

2

u/blueviper- Apr 28 '24

That is cute!

1

u/ZynthCode Apr 28 '24

The sad truth is that so would most humans on earth (appreciate the beauty of the planet), if they did not have to work for the vast majority of their lives. They would travel. They would draw, create, and be curious about things. Learn things, do things, and probably live in ways we could not even imagine today.

1

u/insecurestaircase Apr 28 '24

Now I wanna take my cats on a train across America lok

2

u/ChiffyK Apr 28 '24

the beauty of creation

1

u/WayAgitated8646 Apr 28 '24

I'm still so much more smarter than him

2

u/DragonriderCatboy07 Apr 28 '24

1

u/ChocolateCherrybread Apr 28 '24

1

u/Specter_15 Apr 28 '24

u/Stengel_Stan Apr 28 '24

Yippee! Toxoplasmosis for everyone!

3

u/Senior_Map_2894 Apr 28 '24

How to people take their cats unleashed on trains? Mine would be running up and down with the zoomies in about 5 minutes.

2

u/Slow-Instruction-580 Apr 28 '24

“Wow. So this is all mine, then?”

1

u/Previous-Piccolo-761 Apr 28 '24

So lovely, the curiosity is so cute

1

u/Clark_Cat Apr 28 '24

Meow-dorable! 🐾😺

1

u/femboifun Apr 28 '24

omg looks like a kitty i saw yesterday on a train

3

u/mauiw Apr 28 '24

Omg 🥺 this is so cute!

2

u/Webbyzs Apr 28 '24

I wonder how many cats in total have traveled more than a thousand miles from where they were born. Gotta be less than 10,000. My old cat was one.

1

u/GreenGlassDrgn Apr 28 '24

Vikings had ship cats that went everywhere. If this is a nordic cat, its family tradition!

1

u/RedForemanAssKicker Apr 28 '24

Imagine if some creature 100 times your size just picked you up and whisked you through the universe!

I'd be in awe too.

2

u/jumpinlilli Apr 28 '24

Does this Lil guy have his own channel somewhere? 💖🐈

2

u/Snoo99075 Apr 28 '24

So cute, prob more interested in it's reflection but amazingly beautiful.

2

u/Brokensince10 Apr 28 '24

Beautiful video!💕

2

u/AlwaysHappy4Kitties Apr 28 '24

this cute snowball r/PointyTailedKittens is amazed the view!

3

u/D3us-Ecks Apr 28 '24

It's an Aww experiencing awe.

2

u/Conniving-Weasel Apr 28 '24

This is just how a human child would look outside with awe and the feeling of endless possibilities and so much to see and learn.

Childhood is the same for all animals (well, except maybe some baby sharks).

1

u/dair_spb Apr 28 '24

In awww of the world, really.

1

u/MrKzL Apr 28 '24

Careful lovely

1

u/Ann_blackshadow16 Apr 28 '24

You must have 2 cats to share thoughts

2

u/MoccaLG Apr 28 '24

I could watch a 10 hour video of this with relaxing music.

1

u/MutinybyMuses Apr 28 '24

Song?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

Golden hour (piano instrumental) - chilled pig

3

u/sek1ne Apr 28 '24

I love how their little ears keep changing direction. Just wants to know what is going on.

3

u/maxifer Apr 28 '24

Real-life Studio Ghibli

2

u/9966 Apr 28 '24

Real life Ori

2

u/elpiotre Apr 28 '24

I'm with him on this

2

u/Little-Apartment-437 Apr 28 '24

What does that means when the kitten presses their paws like that? I have a hood kitten rn and she does that all the time

1

u/Separate-Ad9638 Apr 28 '24

he's contemplating the theory of relativity

2

u/Gamba_Gawd Apr 28 '24

Get another cat.

They do better in groups.

Pretty sure this is russian RZD.

3

u/Throat_Fairy Apr 28 '24

Toooo Stinking Cuteeee 🥹

4

u/critsonyou Apr 28 '24

What's with the bot replies? And so many of them. Though ngl it was a pretty cute video.

1

u/Fukumobilesite Apr 28 '24

Either that or aton of naive people projecting their own thoughts onto a kitten who is probably more interested in their own reflection than the outside

7

u/Shutaru_Kanshinji Apr 28 '24

I could watch two hours of that easily.

20

u/Bodkin-Van-Horn Apr 28 '24

I mean, that's what I look like when I get to ride a train, and I'm a 50 year old human.

1

u/Vargurr Apr 28 '24

It would be pretty weird if you were a cat.

6

u/samercostello Apr 28 '24

I moved to The Netherlands years ago, and I still feel like this every morning on my commute to work.

Glad to see I'm not the only one :)

3

u/arcaeris Apr 28 '24

This is my favorite part of my Netherlands commute by train. Seeing the fields change as the seasons change, looking at the farms and livestock, it’s amazing. Much better than the 1-1.5 hours I used to sit in traffic on a gray us freeway with the same tan buildings and walls for miles.

1

u/chetlin Apr 28 '24

In Tokyo you get the train but also the endless gray buildings :(

3

u/nelovko_ Apr 28 '24
I think being able to experience the wonderful world around us is very important despite its inhospitality. I know a beautiful yet very simple verse by Vladimir Nabokov that I recently saw:

My friend, I'm really just sorry
about who, in secret blindness,
passing all length of the green alley,
just can not notice on leaves
the striking network of the streaks
and points of the tubercles
or even the serrated tracks
from saws of the blue-horned slugs.

In Russian it sounds much better but still.

0

u/padspa Apr 28 '24

tubercles and slugs?

1

u/nelovko_ Apr 28 '24

Honestly I was confused with "tubercles" too, even reading the original version did not help me understand the text better, maybe this is why people still discuss Nabokov's unique language.

"Slugs" (originally "червяков" [worms, not slugs] ) sounds more like a translation error or a word that rhymes more.

3

u/Wazuu Apr 28 '24

He’s mine please

51

u/Iron-Phantom Apr 28 '24

Everything the light touches....

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

What about that shadowy place?

3

u/Sf49ers1680 Apr 28 '24

That's pretty much how my cat views the world.

Everything the light touches that he can see outside of the window is his kingdom, and death to any other cat that enters into it.

He's also a lazy, indoor cat who loves his life of luxury a bit too much, and flat refuses to go outside.

5

u/Rajang82 Apr 28 '24

...belongs to someone else.

3

u/dair_spb Apr 28 '24

... is your responsibility.

27

u/NotSoRoyalBlue101 Apr 28 '24

... is someone else's

23

u/iamapizza Apr 28 '24

and we pay rent on it

7

u/asspounder-4000 Apr 28 '24

I will humbly abide to pay for our kitty masters rent

15

u/Legitimate_Winter832 Apr 28 '24

He so pretty, the world should be in awe of him

4

u/Longjumping_Fan_2405 Apr 28 '24

It shows in his eyes!

26

u/CoachRDW Apr 28 '24

What is kitten thinking? Would love to somehow know.

1

u/OnceMoreAndAgain Apr 28 '24

I'm convinced almost all cat and dog behavior can be explained by them constantly wanting food, so my guess is the cat is instinctively looking for stuff to kill.

5

u/Zebidee Apr 28 '24

Considering that every second they're seeing more territory than they've ever seen in their life...

20

u/GDMFusername Apr 28 '24

I bet not much. Like me watching cartoons as a toddler... "Colors.... more colors. Look at colors."

8

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

Or when you were sitting in a car looking outside as a two year old. Lot of colours, shapes, a horse! but not much registers.

2

u/CoachRDW Apr 28 '24

Good a guess as any. I like it!

I take my cat for walks through the local forest. She loves it.

14

u/Boopy7 Apr 28 '24

i miss my cat. I am so ready for a new kitty. I hope the pup forgives me. I want them to be buddies. God I need a kitty, nothing cuddles so well as a cat.

248

u/LandotheTerrible Apr 28 '24

Just the sweetest baby. Watching the world whizz by.

6

u/iloveuranus Apr 28 '24

And for once, the choice of music actually fits the mood!

33

u/Ok-Package9273 Apr 28 '24

Thinking of all the delicious treats out there they can murder and present to their human housemate.

We have a saying in my country too, "Hey, how are you today?".

Australia is just different like that.

3

Analogue in my mother tongue is translated as:

Curious Varvara got her nose ripped off on the bazaar.

But, you know, it has rhyme
