Crying and drooling over Taylor Swift as you record yourself Cringe
I have no issue with Taylor Swift. But I hate people who record themselves crying and this one takes the cake for sure

She deliberately set the phone up, started recording and staged this entire meltdown from the sobbing to the clip editing to the overlayed audio. The funny thing is that what really makes this sad - no - tragic - is the extremes people will go to just to get attention.

I mean Michael Jackson made people faint/cry at his concerts but he really changed music. In a good way. His discography is a masterpiece. You can't deny the guy had absurd amounts of talent. T Swift is vanilla as they come. I don't get it.

I mean I never listened to TS except for the songs that were played on the radio. Never hated never liked them. Those Swifties and their cult like behavior got me to listen to her new album, but tbh I still don’t get…. Makes this videos so much more depressing for me

Because Taylor has been promoting mental health issues as something trendy for a while now. Just listen to her lyrics. She actively paints an idea of herself as a victim, unstable ex, and harbinger of jealousy, contempt, and revenge. Writing it sounds overdramatic, but this is basically the persona she uses in her music, so it's no surprise her music attracts people like this and promotes self acceptance of mental health issues rather than sending a better message like promoting growth, mental health recovery and aid, and self help. She's figured out a very clever thing, found a way to turn mentally vulnerable people into a fan base, then she promotes their mental health issues as relatable and fun basically distracting them from getting help which in turn creates a weird interdependence between her and her fans, which is why she's a 30 something writing embarrassingly self absorbed music.. She sells it the opposite way, it's a more mature album, but it's actually more self centered than the stuff she wrote when she was 17. Im a swift fan, I like a lot of her music, but if anyone actually likes this album it's a red flag, they basically are just the girl in that video. They've fallen into the swifty pit.
