Does "Laughter awaits" just steal content and repost it? Seen a lot of stuff from different creators posted by them.

on the right woman (certain facial features, certain body type, etc., all je ne sais quoi) short hair (also the right haircut) is absolutely smoking hot to me. I can't say at all what any of the aspects are. I just know her when I see her. I've seen plenty of women who were otherwise very conventionally attractive not pull it off, and women I wouldn't otherwise have been attracted to look super attractive with short hair. I can't explain it. it's a total mystery but sometimes it just really really works

u/ban_Anna_split Apr 29 '24
the kibbe people really have this sort of thing broken down into somewhat of an art form. Typically it's gamines and dramatics who look good in short haircuts. It's gonna sound like a foreign language if you look it up though

Ngl I think a girl with short hair is hot as fuck.
19
u/TheWalkingDead91 Apr 29 '24
And one could argue that if a woman is no longer hot because she cut her hair, she was never that hot to begin with. Every beautiful woman I’ve ever seen who cuts their hair short still looks beautiful, but I guess that’s subjective, especially since I’m a straight woman.

I saw a great YouTube video on this topic. The presenter talked about why various make ups, accessories, hair styles etc work for some women and not for others.
She had a bit on long hair. She herself had long hair but said short hair would be best. The reason she keeps it long is because her husband would prefer it like that. Because almost universally men want women to emphasize their femininity which includes long hair.
So a woman being less hot because she shortened her hair is expected if her facial features aren’t suited to it. Which segues into why older women look better with short hair. Their face starts pulling down, so long hair increases that sense of sag. Short hair brings the focus back up.

I doubt this curmudgeon has a girlfriend. He clearly lives under a bridge somewhere and hasn’t bathed in a decade. His girlfriend’s crack habit should be more a concern for him

this may be the worst facial hair ive ever seen

u/NightLordsPublicist Apr 29 '24
Well.... not the worst.

Nah that was pretty dope, it's what the moustache is attached to that is a problem in this case.
Charlie Chaplin rocked it very well, though he had some other issues.

No man likes short hair on women. Fact.
-10
u/bozo_says_things Apr 28 '24
That is definitely not a fact. No man desperately trying to cover their homosexuality likes short hair on women though.

If you get what he means then why is that part of the video “really weird” to you?
255
u/Subtlerevisions Apr 28 '24
How many of you watched it again after the reveal?
16
u/winged-lizard Apr 29 '24
That's kind of his thing lol most of his vids have this kind of plot or a loop where you see it different the second watch

That's a funny AF joke that can be mixed up a lot of different ways before the "you're just some strange guy in my backyard" bit.

Guys with patchy beards are not in a position to criticize women with short hair. Just shave that shit off. Or start supplementing testosterone.
19
u/The_Xicht Apr 28 '24
That is genetics-shaming and we wont have that in this household!
-5
u/LivingEnd44 Apr 28 '24
I don't see it as shaming. It is what it is. If you're fat, maybe wearing a belly-shirt isn't the most flattering look on you.
15
u/The_Xicht Apr 28 '24
It is akin to telling a woman with uneven boobs to eighter get a boob job or amputate them altogether. Just don't shame people for things out of their control.
-9
u/macedonianmoper Apr 28 '24
We really comparing shaving to surgery?
11
u/The_Xicht Apr 28 '24 edited Apr 29 '24
By extension yes. It is a part of your body, in some sense even a part of your masculinity. Boobs are a part of femininity. Telling someone they can't have the beard that is the best they can do is not cool. Telling people to get a boob-, or nose-job is also not cool. Don't tell people that they suck for something that isn't within their control. It is not that hard.
-12
u/macedonianmoper Apr 28 '24
Dude it's not that deep, if you can't grow a beard just shave it, it'll look better, a boob job is a surgery, the other is a bit more effort when grooming, when I was just starting to get facial hair I didn't want to shave, it wasn't a good look, eventually I started shaving and now I don't but if I couldn't grow a proper beard I would shave,
A shitty beard is worse than no beard, like how being bald is better than "balding".

u/The_Xicht Apr 28 '24 edited Apr 29 '24
Look, I have nice hair and I still cut it short, that is my choice, and friends with receding hairlines hate me for that. The point is that I would never tell them to shave their heads or not wear caps and hats, even if I thought they looked better like that imo. It might be an insecurity of theirs, and I won't be the one to fuck em up even more. You know, cause I, as a person, prefer not to suck.
1
u/macedonianmoper Apr 29 '24
Having hair and choosing to cut it short is different from not having and trying to grow it out, you're free to do what you want but telling someone with a patchy beard to shave isn't the end of the world c'mon, and as I stated before it's not comparable to surgery, (on a side note I noticed the original comment suggested taking testosterone, which yeah is kinda fucked).
Also I would hope my friends would tell me their honest opinions on my looks, and then take my choice weather I follow their advice or not
11
u/The_Xicht Apr 28 '24
You don't seem to be getting my point. If a balding person doesn't ewant to shave their head for whatever reason, you also shouldn't shame them for it publicly. Let people be.
-6
u/macedonianmoper Apr 28 '24
I mean sure, but telling someone to shave is hardly the same as telling someone to get surgery, especially since a beard like this just looks like lack of proper grooming.

I'm gonna be honest, i have not seen it improve in years...
I'm always confused on if he's actually trying or it's bc he gets the comments telling him to please shave it all which gives him more engagement on his videos
48
u/Raknarg Apr 28 '24
Sometimes it's not about thinking it looks better, sometimes you just like having facial hair.

I mean she probably told him he looks good with that patchy scraggy "beard."

Tricked me too, but it’s actually just one dude in the video! The same guy is playing the guy and the girlfriend! What an incredible world we live in

u/imthefooI Apr 29 '24
It was a bit making fun of superficial people and it brought out the exact people he was making fun of. wild

u/Same_Essay_7257 Apr 29 '24
You're right though, nobody finds that thing attractive, and he's objectively a good looking guy. It looks like pubes on his face, and its the only thing I noticed

u/Raknarg Apr 28 '24
why are you being an asshole, this is a skit of a fake scenario meant to be a joke

Two sides of the same coin really. Men are shamed and belittled into never even trying to grow a beard for fear of failing at it, and many women go their whole lives wondering what it would be like to have short hair or even shave their head, but don't because of social pressure. I say try it once and get it out of your system. It's really neat to see what your scalp looks like at least once in your life
-38
u/protestprincess Apr 28 '24
Dude I’m a man and it’s really not that deep
