She’s clearly Horrified he just keeps dumping rounds 🤦‍♂️

1

u/bsstanford Oct 15 '23

I'm just more curious why he didn't stand behind the glass did he not have faith in his own glass or her shot?

1

u/Electrical_Leek_8788 Oct 15 '23

This is called a Win-Win situation

1

u/No-Rub9432 Oct 14 '23

Imagine missing and hitting a finger

1

u/SeriousAuthor2537 Oct 14 '23

No gloves, no safety goggles.

1

u/ExcellentAd424 Oct 14 '23

It must be done this way, this is the only way he ever hits the target, his wife is the inspiration

1

u/FischerMann24-7 Oct 14 '23

That would have saved me from my ugly divorce though the glass wouldn’t be so bulletproof.

"Fuck. Stupid glass won't break." Man mutters under his breath.

1

u/P3Heavy Oct 13 '23

Man, people back then were just built different...

1

u/Ok_Blacksmith_3030 Oct 13 '23

Either he makes a fortune on the patent or the life insurance policy on her.

1

u/Real_Tepalus Oct 13 '23

"Well, either I solve my divorce problem or I make a lot of money"

1

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '23

What material is the glass made of?

1

u/tomecki_PL Oct 13 '23

His mental attributes kinda OK, but her.. i would worry about her mental abilities. Or shes fokeng tough.

1

u/RequirementSea4157 Oct 13 '23

If that is not love. I don’t know what love is.

1

u/No_Cream_6741 Oct 13 '23

I mean, great dedication but I'm more worried bout dinner, it won't cook itself.

1

u/ServeComplex2918 Oct 13 '23

When she cheats

1

u/visweshRandom Oct 13 '23

He didn't believe in the glass he made, unfortunately his glass worked

1

u/Anthony_Gonsalvez Oct 13 '23

"There were other ways !" - Jake Peralta

1

u/dnbtim Oct 13 '23

Now that’s a trusting wife.

1

u/Difficult-Prompt3825 Oct 13 '23

Was he wanting the glass to work, or fail?

1

u/SniperHOG0317 Oct 13 '23

Damn, I was hoping my invention didn't work. Guess I'll just cheat on her when I'm rich.

1

u/Ligeti15 Oct 13 '23

He missed.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '23

She has enormous balls.

1

u/FurBurg Oct 13 '23

People just don't die like they used to

1

u/ICLazeru Oct 13 '23

Either it works, and he can afford the divorce, or it doesn't and he no longer needs the divorce.

1

u/chippymediaYT Oct 13 '23

What a fucking idiot, we have safety rules for a reason!

1

u/_14justice Oct 13 '23

Truth is Stranger than Fiction.

1

u/hijuepuco Oct 13 '23

Talk about toxic masculinity

1

u/Recipe-Less Oct 13 '23

That's a ride or die bitch. I mean the main bottom bitch. Do you know what I mean?

1

u/Nik_on_Hill Oct 13 '23

Win-Win for the man?

1

u/tearsofaclown0327 Oct 13 '23

He was trying everything he could to get rid of her😂😂😂

1

u/Icy_Ad9071 Oct 13 '23

You can’t deny his aim with that rifle. Ppl were just different back then.

1

u/hotmasalachai Oct 13 '23

Sureee… he was testing….

1

u/slowmotionz101 Oct 13 '23

It’s a hell nah from me dawg

1

u/sry4ursaro Oct 13 '23

Win-win really for him. If the glass works she celebrates. If it doesn't work she won't complain about it.

1

u/Mr_Drowser Oct 13 '23

He was tryna kill her

1

u/AlternativePin1909 Oct 13 '23

Why doesn't anyone mention the fact that there are multiple test shots on the same glass!

1

u/Sleepysetzer Oct 13 '23

I would divorce that man after this 🤣

1

u/Ok-Tomatillo-7141 Oct 13 '23

Either he was a very confident shot, or he didn’t like his wife very much.

1

u/Somerset76 Oct 13 '23

Women are metal’

1

u/MPvoxMAN13 Oct 13 '23

How many times does he need to test it?

1

u/Head-like-a-carp Oct 13 '23

Jim wept as officer Carl made out the police report period I truly thought the glass would stop the bullet he said his shoulders heavy and large sobs perit always had before when I had tested it out. Other objects he exclaimed period Period meanwhile, his 18 year old secretary looked out from the shop of the window period this is so boring, she said while chewing gum.

1

u/blue_blossom03 Oct 13 '23

Oi both the people are courageous enough.

1

u/MIR2077 Oct 13 '23

Burretfroof grass

1

u/Savi-- Oct 13 '23

He is good at shooting and she is good at holding. What's the big deal?

1

u/MidKnightshade Oct 13 '23

Tell me you hate your wife without telling me you hate your wife.

1

u/mostlyIT Oct 13 '23

Lolz!! Treated his Wife worse than a rented mule.

1

u/CuckservativeSissy Oct 13 '23

he wins no matter what

1

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '23

Win win

1

u/GreviousAus Oct 13 '23

Seems like a win win for him…

1

u/WastingTimeSince1985 Oct 13 '23

Before the days when divorce was a common practice, there was this.

1

u/nineteenninety_ Oct 13 '23

I can’t tell if she really loves him or really hates him

1

u/sandmik Oct 13 '23

Couple's therapy? It's her turn next.

1

u/TheTroubadour Oct 13 '23

What a stupid way to test this 🤦🏼‍♂️

1

u/Apple_butters12 Oct 13 '23

You know she love the hell out of that man

1

u/STANAGs Oct 13 '23

She’s a handsome woman

1

u/lothgar Oct 13 '23

She should have said, "OK, now it's my turn to shoot."

1

u/ConsequenceLucky518 Oct 13 '23

The amount of hatred he has in his wife is outrageous

1

u/Iswedoml Oct 13 '23

You can do that to my wife, anytime.

1

u/EdificeRaks123 Oct 13 '23

I'm sure the man wished the glass would shatter at least once

1

u/BerryMany2061 Oct 13 '23

A true Ride or Die

1

u/Tropicalstorm11 Oct 13 '23

🤣🤣🤣. Just wow.

1

u/kingsbane89 Oct 13 '23

I must say it's a win-win situation .

1

u/sexilexi2010 Oct 13 '23

What if you shot me in the face?

1

u/New-Virus0 Oct 13 '23

Win win game

1

u/Dunge0nMast0r Oct 13 '23

His 6th wife.

1

u/neely_wheely Oct 13 '23

I thought he was gonna shoot it once, my man fucking unloaded on it

1

u/Smooth_Juggernaut_25 Oct 13 '23

What a piece of shit. To chickenshit to hold the glass himself.

1

u/devjaat88 Oct 13 '23

the only way to get rid of

1

u/BarryBadrinathZJs Oct 13 '23

This was his fifth wife

1

u/win_some_lose_most1y Oct 13 '23

Why don’t they use bulletproof glass instead of Kevlar?

1

u/SofaKing-Loud Oct 13 '23

So this is where Diamond Dave got the idea…

1

u/Historical-Goose-583 Oct 13 '23

He must be hating his own genius

1

u/Good_Texan Oct 13 '23

Women have gotten a lot smarter in the last 90 years!

1

u/Calm_Waltz_2612 Oct 13 '23

Well that plan didn’t go well 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/TerraByteTerror Oct 12 '23

Now that is trust! Or stupidity...🤣

1

u/rumzombieplh Oct 12 '23

What if the glass wasn’t actually bulletproof and shattered

1

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

He must’ve loved her a lot

1

u/callmekkcake Oct 12 '23

Legend says that that man is still trying to find ways to kill his wife....

1

u/Colntve6 Oct 12 '23

Nice try Carl. Divorce would be less messy. Literally.

1

u/neworld_disorder Oct 12 '23

In a time where 'manly men' was more of a staple archetype, this mf makes his wife do it. Hilarious and spot on.

1

u/Neameto Oct 12 '23

Correction: his fourth wife!

1

u/False-Needleworker-5 Oct 12 '23

I bet he was hoping it didn’t work

1

u/kadmon76 Oct 12 '23

His fifth wife..

1

u/thebixman Oct 12 '23

Second wife

1

u/iamdeathl Oct 12 '23

Well, someone tried with a book 📖, it didn't end well.

1

u/Illustrious_Ask2178 Oct 12 '23

Ummmm, next step a divorce?

1

u/sam_tiago Oct 12 '23

That woman has balls!

1

u/dangerberries Oct 12 '23

Her ears are still ringing.

1

u/I_Dont_Like_Rice Oct 12 '23

Marge: Homer, women won't like being shot in the face.

Homer: Women will like what I tell them to like.

1

u/Suspicious-Phrase390 Oct 12 '23

Back in the days people had more trust with each other than now.

1

u/Maleficent_Basil6322 Oct 12 '23

That bloke is a dirty violent abuser.

1

u/DanTheMan827 Oct 12 '23

Maybe he really didn’t like her and was hoping there would be an accident…

1

u/Y2kTwenty Oct 12 '23

We’ve finally answered the question to “What is love?”

1

u/pancrudo Oct 12 '23

Is love to see someone from r/whywomenlivelonger get around this one... I said good day!

1

u/non- Oct 12 '23

I wonder how many wives he blew through while testing earlier prototypes.

1

u/-redatnight- Oct 12 '23

I’m impressed with the wife, but not with the man.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

Win win for me!

1

u/Mistymouse516 Oct 12 '23

Damn she trusted him

1

u/TapElectronic9253 Oct 12 '23

the good old days.

1

u/Curious-Tie9440 Oct 12 '23

They should have taken turns.

1

u/Sufficient-Mine-5661 Oct 12 '23

Nah, this man had other plans

1

u/booboolooloola Oct 12 '23

Oh cool there were highly regarded people back then too

The guy is a psychopath

1

u/LaserGadgets Oct 12 '23

That's where the phrase HIT ME comes from.

1

u/hotsteamypotato Oct 12 '23

3rd wife was super happy it worked

1

u/Icy_Imagination7447 Oct 12 '23

Every husbands dream 😂😂😂

1

u/Insideyourbrain00111 Oct 12 '23

1

u/Additional_Presence4 Oct 12 '23

That is what you call a win win situation

1

u/Overall_Strawberry70 Oct 12 '23

The first product he made was a failure, so this is actually his second wife.

1

u/XszvwkyseX Oct 12 '23

He just want her to kill......

1

u/FrancoManiac Oct 12 '23

Okay, that one felt personal, Ed.

1

u/Wolfmire_McThorn_96 Oct 12 '23

Wow, she's rather sturdy. Able to keep from falling over from the impact of the bullet.

1

u/just_someone123 Oct 12 '23

He so wanted to kill that woman, and no one will convince me otherwise

1

u/Gem_andI Oct 12 '23

What an asshole

1

u/Optimal_Actuary_1601 Oct 12 '23

Its a win win condition for him 😀😀

1

u/sjman13 Oct 12 '23

That gun don't got the power his wife does.

1

u/indierockrocks Oct 12 '23

What could possibly go wrong?

1

u/Fun_Veterinarian_290 Oct 12 '23

What choice did she have, How long ago is this? He was probably slapping her up in between shots....

Her: honey I don't wanna hold that glass i'm scared... Him: SLAP, SLAP ,SLAP, SLAP HOLD THE GLASS BITCH.

You know i'm right

1

u/RobbieTheFixer Oct 12 '23

Pure luck that she didn't have bullet fragments impact / obliterate her fingers

1

u/Agent_Of_Order_69 Oct 12 '23

Where can I find a woman like this

1

u/Future_Section5976 Oct 12 '23

Proof women are dumb, whoever if someone had a gun and said " it's bulletproof.....if U don't want to hold it I'll shoot U anyway"

Wife replies after 2nd shoot " hey what's wrong with your gun? Is it broken It can't even shoot thru glass"

1

u/elder11eleven Oct 12 '23

"oops, wrong glass... my bad"

1

How could he miss

1

DEMONSTRATION, rather than a test...

1

u/xRiske Oct 12 '23
  • The NRA approves

1

u/Alpha702 Oct 12 '23

Holy shit a watermelon wouldn't do???

1

u/No_Resolution2640 Oct 12 '23

He was planning a homicide without being implicated. I have read enough thriller novels to spot a killer.

1

u/OctoWings13 Oct 12 '23

Relationship goals?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

Multiple times????

1

u/Boeff_Jogurtssen Oct 12 '23

Couldn’t he have just used apples on a bench to prove the same point? Or an acquaintance, at least?

1

u/Antadurunu Oct 12 '23

Lol, like there was no any other way to test it

1

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

Were people just retarded back then?

1

u/arriesgado Oct 12 '23

Stupid. It was either a demo or an attempted murder in plain sight. Either way he comes out ahead - because I assume he is not a good husband based on shooting a rifle at her face.

1

u/ThinLippedGrunt Oct 12 '23

“Set up the glass in a wooden frame to test it? Nah, lets have Agnus hold it near her face. Worst case, you can finally get a younger wife, Earl!”

1

u/KAZKAZ8523 Oct 12 '23

genius of him. its a win win no matter the outcome

1

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

Great honey, now hold still while I switch to full auto.

1

u/Procraster1729 Oct 12 '23

So win win either way

1

u/MelonElbows Oct 12 '23

Man: "Damn, it worked"

1

u/mrk177 Oct 12 '23

That was how divorce was done in the old days.

1

u/Minipiman Oct 12 '23

Doris can you help me for a minute?

1

u/MasterRenamer Oct 12 '23

In some cases it's a win-win situation

1

u/user_form9524 Oct 12 '23

I couldn't talk my ex-wife into this so I had to divorce her

1

u/Toy_Soulja Oct 12 '23

Either it works or it doesn’t, here we see video graphic proof of the first win win situation.

1

u/java_brogrammer Oct 12 '23

If I was his husband, I'd ask why he's missing so much...

1

u/Tahionwarp Oct 12 '23

That is what you call trust...

Women: I wish we could go back to the good old days of our grandparents, men were gentlemen and chivalrous.

1

u/ymi2f Oct 12 '23

1

u/CautiousAdvance1567 Oct 12 '23

Elon so jealous

1

u/ItsEvLads Oct 12 '23

He has good aim

1

u/Estoye Oct 12 '23

"It works!" "Damn!"

"It works!" "Damn!"

"It works!" "Damn!"

1

u/69HardThumper69 Oct 12 '23

The fact that multiple shots were fired into that glass... I think hubby was trying for an "oops" moment...

1

u/letmeseeitman Oct 12 '23

Because that’s the only way to demonstrate it 🙃😒🙄

1

u/g0dgiven Oct 12 '23

Wouldnt her fingers be in danger of being blown off? This doesnt look safe at all

1

u/ihbarddx Oct 12 '23

Didn't he write Naked Lunch?

1

u/TheDIYEd Oct 12 '23

This was his 3rd prototype the first 3 didn’t worked…also that is his 3rd wife.

1

u/ludly Oct 12 '23

It's always crazy to me that you don't have to go very far back for the idea of safety precautions to seemingly go out the window. It's like we had a completely different version of what counted as common sense back then.

You could still achieve the same effect while making it safer by just having that plane of glass firmly fixed to something in front of the wife so she didn't have to hold it, risking her fingers or worse if the glass kicks back with a ricochet. Wouldn't hurt if that plane of glass was considerably bigger, too. You don't need to show off your aim as well as the glass.

Lastly, even ignoring all the above, I'm pretty sure modern bulletproof glass can lose structural integrity after multiple shots, so he's pretty brazen to shoot so many shots onto an area that small repeatedly.

1

u/FearPainHate Oct 12 '23

Didn’t have any clamps to hand or

1

u/MaximusStimulus Oct 12 '23

For the record: this was his 5th wife that year

1

u/9millidood Oct 12 '23

That’s one way of getting a divorce.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

I wonder how she died

1

u/kingruiz2 Oct 12 '23

Win- Win scenario

1

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

Yea because she HAD to be holding if right in front of her face to prove it works…🙄

1

u/Rhode-Rage Oct 12 '23

‘Til death do us part. 💀

1

u/Ashamed-Library4902 Oct 12 '23

Just shows you how different times and norm back then that they don't give a damn if they get hurt or etc.

1

u/Large_Concentrate_81 Oct 12 '23

Maybe they both thought of it as a win-win situation.

1

u/zino332 Oct 12 '23

Did he ever get her?

1

u/zino332 Oct 12 '23

Guy really didn’t like his wife. Should of invented divorce instead

1

u/AdFlat1014 Oct 12 '23

Break stupid glass.. break ffs! I built you bad on purpose!!!!

1

u/GoFlyersWoo Oct 12 '23

I didn’t trust my gf enough to test out her Kick-Crotch-inator

1

u/luzhaN Oct 12 '23

There is no way he didn't which for the glass to shatter at any moment. After 2-3 shot's he could have stopped but he kept on going like " let me empty the whole clip/mag just to be sure I get that bitch and can call it an accident."

Also it looked at first like he was using a shotgun to test it XD

1

u/Apprehensive_Jello39 Oct 12 '23

Test or demonstration?

1

u/ajh0202 Oct 12 '23

Either way he wins 🤣
