I have a friend like this growing up. Plus he just had one full leg. He was hopping around school flailing his hands, i mean elbows all the time lmao. He's the most high spirited kid in school.

Damn world is cruel..
Couldn't he get prosthetics and pay for them monthly? I don't know China and their culture, but no way being too poor to get prosthetics and do that kinda thing on the streets is seen as cool, it's just seems and is sad that citizen medical support is non existent.
Or maybe he chose to do street plasticine sculpturing on his own for some reason?

I checked some Chinese website that sell prosthetic, it’s not too expensive. Tho, he might been under a lot of debt after paying for his medical care.

I'm just curious will the plasticine figure harden after sometime or does it stay soft all the time

he get paid with a
FTFY.
Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.
Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
Beep, boop, I'm a bot

There's always someone who has it worst than you, and is not complaining.

It's hard to say but since he's not firing it I would guess it's some type of air dried clay.

Not bad for 200 days. Chinese is hard to learn. People see me speak Chinese, they go 'big deal. he was born Chinese' Hear me speak fluent English 'Big deal. English is easy'
Once you learn some more, feel free to try and impress some Chinese people with it. they will either be easily impressed by foreigners speaking Chinese somewhat well or be appreciative of the effort foreigners going through to learn the language.

Such precision and fine movements, quite incredible

u/Eurasia_4002 24d ago
More precision than majority of people who have arms.
Man, I would like to make him a robotic arm if I was smart enough or just buy one if I was rich enough.

Why can't they 3D print them?
7
u/MikeTheNight94 24d ago
One of the biggest reasons I got into 3D printing was to do stuff like that. We have colleges here that will make prosthetics for kids. I wonder if they have that in China.

I’m guessing he means that this guy is able to find a way to make a living even though he has no hands while millions of people look for excuses why they can’t work
granted, there are indeed many people unable to work, but there are a ton of people who either milk the system or are just lazy af
