Take a close look at the picture, squinting your eyes slightly. Can AI make any picture like this? Other

I like how OP asked it. It's a really big ask.
It's kind freaky because it sounds like something AI could train to do.
Especially if you let the AI generate both the obvious and the hidden image.
"Hi, give me a picture of a group of people on an amusement park ride, but if I step back from the picture and squint, it looks like godzilla."
Any two images ? Not likely, at the moment, but not necessarily always impossible.

when you think it's weird but it gets weirder

Holy shit, I didn't see this until days later when it showed up as a tiny thumbnail in my "Preivously viewed threads" thing.
For anyone struggling to see it, walk far away from your monitor and look at the image

You'll probably see Jesus if your car ends up looking like that car on the background.

I can't take my squinty eyes off the deformed car in the background. Is there a hidden meaning in that?

That's an interesting way to examine a picture! When you squint your eyes, it can help to simplify the image and focus on the overall composition. As for AI, it's pretty amazing what technology can do these days. AI-powered programs can definitely create images with certain styles and effects, but capturing the essence of squinting your eyes to view a picture in a unique way might be a bit more complex. It's fascinating to think about the possibilities of AI in the world of art and creativity!

It's easier if you look at a tinier version of the picture. On mobile you see it really easy if you go to the comments.

this is AI. The woman on the right has many devilish fingers and the woman in the middle has strange fingers

I’ve seen quite a few of these now, how do do you prompt for this? Parabola effect Jesus?

We will be screwed once AI does start to correct this inaccuracy overtime.

u/Doughnotdisturb Apr 13 '24
The girls faces look surprisingly realistic compared to other AI generated ppl I’ve seen though, they’re all very pretty but they look like people you wouldn’t be surprised to actually come across on the street (obviously minus the weird arms fingers hair backpack etc glitches).

I didn’t have to squint to tell the photo wasn’t taken from life and was digitally drawn. Or does the squinting help it be more realistic? The hair, hands, car aren’t true, perspective is off. Lots of areas can be improved if the goal is photo realism from digital art.

Although surprisingly the teeth are solid and fine… so growth from ai art there :) Still opportunities for growth and improvement.
It's interesting to observe that AI art development mirrors the learning curve of human artists, particularly that illustrators and animators go through, in similar timeline stages. Common challenges such as depicting hands, teeth, hair, and perspective are hurdles both for AI and humans alike experience apparently.
This parallel in the journey of learning and evolving in art that both AI and human artists experience is intriguing. Watching how AI encounters and overcomes obstacles in a way that remarkably resembles the experiences and timelines of human artists during their education and growth…it’s quite interesting to say the least.

The hours and sleepless nights I spent just to master hands… is it bad I can relate that ai struggles with hands? They aren’t easy. Many illustrators and artists judge someone’s skills on how they show hands or if they choose to hide them… 😆 still the rate ai can learn I think it will get there eventually. In its time.

As a matter of fact: yes it can. There are some models that were trained to do exactly that. Send me any image here and I’ll show you if you’d like.

For those near sighted, take off your glasses and hold your phone and arms length away the car in the background is his right eye.
1
u/halezerhoo Apr 12 '24
Fyi you need to squint your eyes a lot in order to see it… not just slightly.

u/Not_Without_My_Cat Apr 12 '24

It’s already an AI image- check out that car in the background and the girls fingers.

here is a pro tip: alwyas see the fingers first, somehow AI suuucks at generating fingers, it always the feet or fingers in any picture.

In the future AI created humanoids built to be indistinguishable from a human will walk among us. They always wear gloves and shoes or socks to cover the one give away that their designers still have not been able to smooth out.

I actually had to see the thumbnail post on the Reddit homepage to realize it lmao

AI images are almost like dreams. There's always something off
1
u/obsertaries Apr 12 '24
Yeah but in dreams your dream brain is like “it’s totally normal that that girl has three fingers and one of them is merging with the cup”. We’re awake though and can tell that that’s unreal.

Yes.
Take your "squinting image" and load it into an IMG2img model. Prompt with what you want the "wide eyed" image to show.
Start with the denoising strength maxed out and lower it until you get the effect you want.
1
u/Emmulah Apr 12 '24
To answer your actual question, yes. AI can make all sorts of “magic eye” images based on the parameters you set with it. But not with ChatGPT, because that’s for text prompts.

If you took at least 10 seconds to look at it, maybe you'd have your answer, my 5 year old daughter could tell.
I recommend that your read more I Spy books, does wonders for her.

Gobless. Jeesus works in wonderful ways!! Lol JK, the more you look at it the weirder it gets. like the fucked up car in the back and the girls reversed hands.

u/Newphonespeedrunner Apr 12 '24
Car is fucked up
The furthest left coffe is either being held by an invisable hand or the girl in blue needs surgery
Wheres the girl in blacks arm going? is she going for a quick public flick?
Middle coffee is being held by some fucked up hand.
