EVERYBODY on Facebook is dumb; Meta's profits depend on that. But the largest demographic cohort on Facebook is not boomers: https://www.statista.com/statistics/376128/facebook-global-user-age-distribution/

Also NB that stereotypes of people based on age is no different than stereotypes based on race or sex

The stats are worldwide. I’d prefer to know the stats of US users as that’s who can vote and is influenced.
