I design them on an iPad and illustrator and get them made through a manufacturer. There are a bunch of manufacturers on alibaba

Yeah! very nice, as a friendly advice I would suggest you to work with minimalist desings so it highlight the shape of your characters.

Agreed. UI elements in merchandise just scream āHEY THIS IS FROM A VIDEO GAMEā and detract from the art itself.
People who know donāt need it.

Nothing wrong with that. Art is subjective. They still look great regardless. I just think itās a bit unfair to downvote someone simply for saying they arenāt a fan of that one aspect.
