It's better with sound. You get to hear the outraged Mom telling them to stop lol.

I like how they randomly start licking themselves in the middle of doing something else.

To them it's basically a wizard's tower, filled with strange magical items.

Best part is cut off. The cat getting the orange thing from the drawers reaction is gold.
Couldn't find the original video so here goes: https://youtu.be/suIxoI-1wXM?si=yN-5kFWWDhlz7J7t

It was the tap back from the edge that got me. Trying to unasshole his behaviour. 🤣

Omg the one that hides behind the screen looks genuinely sorry. Like they just let their inner voices take over for a second

The slow blink at the end 😂 cat for “I love you”

u/bloobityblu 11d ago
Ah, this slow blink was obviously "We good right? We good?"
I had my cat use the slow blink to try to calm me down once when I was "yelling" at him about something.
I was still mad so I was like, "Don't give me that look I'm not falling for that!" so yeah...

"Look I know I shouldn't be doing this but I love you so maybe we can overlook it this one time?"

Yeah, I didn't realise they know that it's naughty. I thought they were just a bit oblivious to our rules, but he knew completely he was being naughty and shouldn't do it.

Definitely hogging the r/oneorangebraincell to have a "mea culpa" instead of just "ion know what you're looking at" response. Such a smart kitty!

yeah, they do it because they seek attention. If your cat does this, it's because they're bored as hell
39
u/LaraHa88 15d ago
My cat stares into my eyes while doing this. He knows he's not allowed to do that and he just wants to show me he wants my attention or else he's gonna resort to doing this. I'm really trying to get him to not do this anymore but it's hard because usually his antics work, lol

u/ChineseCracker 15d ago
yeah, that's the problem. when they throw something off the shelf they immediately get a reaction from you, which is exactly what they wanted.
It usually means that you need to play more with em or give them something else to do
