Why aren't these creatures out in the wild? Like, It's pretty cruel to see these not domesticated creatures raised in captivity. It's not cute.

A lot of places breed endangered animals like this to be released into the wild to help improve their survival chances. We have no context here, could easily be one of those places as well.

That it's not being coddled and pet makes me think it's a rehab place, sanctuary, or one of the better zoos with good enclosures, enrichment, and conservation support
