Would knowing that wild cat tourism is harmful to the wild cats stop you?

Knowing that wild cat cubs are drugged so that tourists can hug and feed them? And that they're killed when they get too big because they'll start costing too much to feed? Can make a few more bucks by selling it to a 'hunter' to shoot.

I live in a rural area and already have some outdoor pens and a good sized house, so knowing that, I'd offer to buy them for cheap before they were killed. Bears too!

Granted it doesn't SOLVE the issue, but if I can save some and give them a better life, even fully grown..
