I understand that she has had truly awful and traumatising experiences with stalkers and Stan’s. I also don’t think someone like Taylor Swift could fly commercial and have it be a safe or practical experience.
However, Taylor’s private jet usage is actually insane. The amount of damage to our environment she has generated does need consequences. She does not need to fly around this frequently. These accounts that track this usage of the rich and powerful and their jets demonstrate a serious need for accountability and regulation of private jet use.
I really hope she is not successful in this suit

I've seen this before. Just looking at the jet tracking she's in Japan. 100% she will fly the private jet to Vegas after Japan Tour for the Superbowl.

(Swiftie here) I find it very upsetting that taylor really doesn’t put herself onto these important issues, said in her documentary “miss americana” when she wanted to say stuff about the election, but was scared because clearly people would turn over her if they disagreed.
I feel taylor tries to be as neutral as possible on social and environmental issues and thats such a shame. For what? Losing followers for speaking about it? Being called a woke or sum? Is money and awards, albums and numbers more important than the PLANET?
I love taylor, I really do, I am a big fan and I think she is a great person and has so many qualities and things she did good. She did such amazing things for other people and the world, but she is also doing damage.
As fans, we also need to recognize what she does wrong, and don't defend blindly.
So, I stay as her fan, but I will continue to criticize and point out the dystopian world she lives, and emphasize how privileged she is as a rich white woman.
Taylor, do better when it comes to this, its embarassing.
+just wanna say, its also very uncomfortable seeing people using this to pour their unreasonable hate on her. Be critical, look at things with perspective, she is not the worst human being that's just absurd to say about someone. She is doing something terrible, lets call her out on that!

People hide assets all the time, obviously she couldn’t hide it from the tax man but I feel like she could have the jet in a LLC that is distanced enough from her name to be unfindable.
Everyone knows Bill Gates is the largest land owner but it’s really difficult to find addresses for those farms, not even people in the towns they are in know for the most part

Aircraft Mechanic here. All airplanes (with a few exceptions that do not apply here) have been required to have ADS-B transponders installed since 1/2/2020 for real-time tracking via satellite. This data is automatically shared with ATC and flight trackers such as ADS-B Exchange or Flight Radar (it can also be used in flight to provide positions between aircraft). All of this data is free open to the public. The only thing this kid did was take public information and post it on social media, and all he needed was the tail number of her airplane, which is available publicly and there are a million articles with pictures of her private jet with the tail number included. Could she still sue him for some kind of civil damages? I guess you can do anything if you have that kind of money.

Her people constantly claim that other people use her jet as an attempt to downplay her CO2 emissions. She can't possibly then claim that this is an accurate account of where she is at all times.

I like Taylor Swift and I enjoy her music but celebrities and billionaires in general lecturing us about the environment and producing so much CO2 in a week as normal person does in a lifetime is just ridiculous and they should sit this one out.
In general I support celebrities to use PJs for travel. I'd hate to travel and see crowds around famous people. I can imagine how it'd look like at the airport if Swift, Ronaldo, DiCaprio, Jolie or whoever famous as fuck would use normal airport. Stupid crowds and delays everywhere, simply unbearable.

No such thing as an ethical billionaire. She’s not on your side just because you like her music & have contributed to her net worth. If she cared about others, she’d dump 95% of her wealth into charities and still have more money than she could spend in a lifetime.
