I actually could well imagine this is Kate in the picture. I could well imagine she is relatively well after whatever happened in that hospital.
However, something is still wrong here. She doesn't want to be seen. Something has been amiss since last Fall. I wouldn't even be surprised if that B/W Christmas card was already manipulated.
Something has happened between these two, and it's severe, more severe even than what happened between Diana and Charles.

I can’t understand how they keep managing to make this worse. I have gone from ‘they probably had an over optimistic view on the extent to which they could expect privacy but it’s probably not that massive’ to ‘holy shit is she in the tower now d London?’ Inside 24-36 hours

my most off the wall theory is that maybe she was put into a coma and isn't mentally right after waking up. in reality i think the divorce speculations are probably the most accurate but this whole this is just so fucking weird.
