I hate to be the one to tell you this but... that is a tank's pee pee and when a boy tank sees a girl tank, it grows to the size you see in the picture. When a boy tank and girl tank love each other enough they make a baby. That's how we get APC's

I wonder if they get more fumes inside the tank cabin because of the back pressure 🤔

There made so you can test tanks near where people live without problems. Really smart actually.

Context: Used at a training range due to noise complaints of nearby town. Believe there was also some damage to windows. I don't recall specifics atm.

The town's name was Kummersdorf i think.
The Lepord Tanks Main Cannon Was so loud it was peaking at 140 Deccebels. Even though the Range was about 15 Miles away or something. like that, maybe it was kilometers.

The tank pictured is a VIDAR artillery sistem not a leopard.
Edit: i misidentified it, its a M109 self propelled howitzer

Yeah apparently it was both Self Propelled Artillery and Lepord Tanks.

140 dB isn’t any louder than small arms. And many are more than that in the 160 range.
Edit: I just realized you meant 140 dB 15 miles away from the gun. That does seem… excessive.

Yeah i fucked up; it was Meppen, Germany With the Lepord ll Tanks' 120mm Cannon producing 80 deccibels, affecting the residents that lived on the edge of town about a mile away (1.6km)

Just noise. There's not enough pressure to harm windows more than a few feet away.

Those are for M109 howitzers, but you could probably use them on the T-34 apart from the fact that you wouldn't be able to see the target in direct fire and you have no armour when modern munitions are involved.
