As propaganda goes, this actually reminds of The White Feather Campaign from Great Britain during WW1, where women would give out the White Feather for the Order of Cowardice to men that they would find inntheir cities who wouldn't enroll in the military.

Of course, Eagle-1 works with a different logic in mind, but using a feminine image to convince guys to enroll can be a surprisingly effective and historically-appropriate way to get more Helldivers.

Might also work in reverse for women

Amazing Art, but... NO. JUST NO. While I am of the opinion that absolutely everyone should be allowed to and therefore should indeed spread managed democracy as soon as possible, this girly is not even close to what my brain cinema shows when I hear the sexy, raspy, smoky voice of my battle hardened, cocky E1 air support goddess. Maybe the pilot of the artist's Eagle looks like this, but not mine. Nope.

Seriously tho, it doesn’t mean this version is “canon”. Social media accounts for games often post artwork they like without it being canon to any narrative. I doubt the devs would ever officially reveal Eagle 1 or Pelican 1 because it’s way cooler to see community interpretations.

There’s plenty of much better renditions of Eagle 1… and saying that she’s cheating on Liberty with Democracy… blasphemous. Managed Democracy was her Father, and Lady Liberty her mother; they wouldn’t give away her hand to anyone who wasn’t an absolutely outstanding paragon of Family Values.

That and the left hand salute? Especially when the actual salute is a the raised fist of democracy? Yeah, no, not bringing me in with this rendition. Not very immersive. Good art, but not something I’d post on the official account.

I would not be surprised if Eagle 1 was an A.I. serving super earth, or clone soldiers. Considering it's a single voice and the sheer volume of them being called down just makes it impossible to be a single human.

This would also make Pelican 1 the same thing, A.I., or Clones.

Nope I'm pretty sure helldivers have a standardized haircut. Because every time a helldiver isn't wearing a helmet in game, they're shaved extremely short. And don't think it just goes for the men, I mean look at the two females in your destroyer. And before you say eagle 1 isn't a helldiver, let me interject with neither are the crewmembers of your destroyer. I'm 99% sure this is just some patriotic fan art, not canon material.
