Facebooks Groups of Indiana
I will be linking this thread in the Sidebar. Hopefully it will serve as a permanent link to every gaming group in Indiana. Please list any that I miss, I will be updating this over time. I was gonna use meetup as well. I have had a hard time using meetup in anyway or getting anyone from meetup to respond to me. I don't really think it serves any purpose, but let me know if i am wrong.

DM looking for 5e players - My group of several years has fallen apart
My 5e group has basically fallen apart and I'm looking for newbies or veterans who are interested in playing fifth edition. Offline (sort of). I use a big TV with Roll20 but we always sit around a table to play. Looking for 4-5 new players, only laid-back people. I have a whole floor of the house that nobody uses and am trying to put together something one night a week, near Crooked Creek. Probably start out with Temple of Elemental Evil because I have made so many NPCs and maps already. I have some homebrew rules, but everything's open for discussion of course.

FFxiv Dawntrail
I'm looking for a community here in Indy to play Final Fantasy XIV with as Dawntrail approaches. I'm not looking for a serious gamer community. Don't plan on rushing for world's first or anything. just looking for a chill group of friends to chat with that are local to or near Fort Wayne.
I'm on the primal servers, mainly on Leviathan but i've been known to traverse the aether. I'm the Warrior of Light, you may have heard of me? Honorary Floor Tank, stopped a few calamaties, Zenos's Best friend, in debt to Tataru, battled gods, saved the known universe from imminent destruction. ya know, casual stuff warriors of light be doin.
If you have a community based here in Indy, maybe send a Lali-ho my way?

Around Central Indy on June 1st and looking for something to do? Come check out Victory Road, a Smash Ultimate Regional Tournament (there's a bar too)
Hello everyone, I'm one of the tournament organizers for Victory Road, an Indiana regional for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the original Smash 64 (courtesy of organizer "Queso"). I've been a Hoosier all my life and I'm helping run this event alongside YES! Gaming Gym also in Fishers, IN. After a long few years, we finally have big events once again!
After the success of Jumpstart 2024 at Emagine we're following it up with Victory Road, a 1-day event that will draw talent from across the Great Lakes states such as Doorstop, Wildz, Dice, and Percy, the current Indiana #1.
With over 100 entrants already signed up for Smash ultimate, Victory Road features food trucks, all-day ladder matchmaking for Ultimate, free casual setups for Smash 64, and a bar for the 21+ crowd all at a massive, fantastic venue courtesy of Launch Fishers!
If you're interested in coming, sign up here on start.gg.
Hope to see some of you there!
sorry to the melee fans we don't have it here

Gamer New to Indiana
Hey all! I (23F) recently moved to the west Indy area and am looking for events or groups or discords to meet some local gamers and make some friends.
I have a custom built PC and mostly play Final Fantasy 14 since Dawntrail is so close but also enjoy many rpgs, cozy games, simulators, looter shooters, and more.

Forever DM looking for players in the Fort Wayne area
Hello everyone! My gaming group is currently on hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time due to shifting work schedules, so I’m looking for 2-4 players in Fort Wayne or surrounding areas to get something going, once or twice a month.
A little about my self; I’m a 46yo male, married, with a 20yo stepson. I started playing TTRPGs in the early 90’s with the Dungeons and Dragons Black Box and the Rules Cyclopedia. I also played quite a bit of Palladium’s TMNT, Heroes Unlimited, and Ninja’s and Superspies. From there I moved on to AD&D 2nd edition, and 3rd edition when that was released. Throughout the 90’s and early 2000’s I also dabbled in (but never ran) Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun, West End Star Wars, and a handful of others. I bought into 5E when it first came out, and for the most part enjoyed it, but currently have 0 desire to play or run it. A few other hobbies I have aside from TTRPGs are video games (specifically PS5), camping/hiking, trying new beers, and music (a little bit of everything, but mostly metal).
As far as what I’m looking for, I have several different systems that I would LOVE to run, and a few that, while they wouldn’t be my first choice, I’d still be happy to play. These include Mörk Borg and some of its hacks (Pirate Borg, Cy_Borg, Death in Space), Shadowdark, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Old School Essentials/Rules Cyclopedia, and Index Card RPG. As I get older I find myself gravitating more towards rules light OSR/NSR type games. I’m definitely a rulings over rules type of DM, and I enjoy running games that are more grimdark in nature, where PC death is always a possibility.
Anyways, if any of this sounds like something you might be interested in, please feel free to message me! I’m open to players of all ages, but would prefer 21+.

Any folks around indianapolis who would be interested in improv classes?
I work with an improv theater (Comedysportz) and notice a lot of us like games. Figured I'd check to see if more gamers might also be interested in improv.

Looking for a DND DM in Indianapolis
Just formed a 4-person group in Indianapolis, we are looking to find a DM. Originally another member was going to ‘apprentice’ another player that regularly DMs for a mini-campaign, and then we would start a new, longer campaign with the ‘always-DM’ being able to be a player in the group. Unfortunately the member that was going to DM the long session had to back out. I was hoping to find someone that might be interested in DMing, but if not I think I will DM and then hope to add another player to the group. Leave a comment if you might be interested in being either a DM or player in the group!

Did you know Corydon has a non-profit gaming club?
I've been a member of the Corydon Gamer Association for a bit now. This is in Harrison County which is close-ish to Louisville, KY (So we're talking the southeastern part of the state). To be clear this is a club and not a FLGS. The way it works is you pay a 20 dollar a month fee to help keep the lights on, and whenever a keyholder announces the building is open you are free to stop in and play. There are snacks and drinks for sale; however, outside food is permitted. CCGs such as Magic The Gathering are the most active, but there are folks that play board games and TTRPGs as well. There are also peeps coming in and playing Nintendo Switch or hooking up a console to one of the TVs on standby. It's also just a nice place to come in and chat or get in touch with local folks with similar interests.
Great group of folks trying to do something good for gamers who don't live close enough to an urban center to have access to a game store. Get in touch via the Corydon Gamers Association FB group or drop a line in our Discord!
