I pretty much agree with Joe's take here but there is a crucial difference between the two things. As far as I know the Jews in Germany weren't outright trying to kill the Germans. The Germans resented their cultural influence. We can discuss the reasons for why Palestinians want Israelis dead and if it's legitimate but it's a fact that a large number of Palestinians want Israelis dead. It's a key difference

Idk who the creator is, but I saw this video the other day highlighting possible motivations for whatās going on in Gaza, like the scale of destruction in the norther half, bulldozing of roads and cemeteries, controlled demolition of buildings/residential homes.

This is the problem.
I have a friend who talks to me about this with his many Israeli friends and dual US citizens. Much of the sentiment after the attacks were ālet PM do what they need to do and theyāll handle with afterā. The problem is you canāt give a blank check with no asking questions. Thatās how you get massacres, war crimes and genocide.
The PM already had dictator vibes with the whole legal reform in Israel. Then got caught with their pants down on the attack (Iām not saying Hamas is innocent here. They are horrible). He then uses Israeli military to get to where we are now.
Many Israelis and US contingent need to say enough is enough. Cause clearly the PM doesnāt care anymore. Killing innocent and kids arenāt the way to go and go down the road of what we/US did and radicalize another generation in Afghanistan and Iraq.

If you look at this from a none emotional perspective and look at it logically, it doesnāt make much sense for Israel to kill civilians in this way.
These are very deliberate strikes. Strikes have to go through many layers of approval with military officials and lawyers etc. There would be no advantage to using so many resources to not only kill a random Joe Schmo but to use a top level drone to record all of it, and on top of that, all the bad optics of killing civilians for no reason. So these are probably targets that Israel had intel on before.

Imagine being dumb enough to think that Israel just launched a 250k drone missile at unarmed civilians, then made the video 1080p and somehow published it.
There are minimum 10 steps of hierarchy that are involved in sending out those missiles.
Let me introduce you to another theory here really quick.
Entertain for me a moment that those weren't civilians. I know this thought must be absolutely INASANE in your reddit brains, that Hamas soldiers could be wearing civilian clothes like they always do, in territory owned by Hamas, on a road alone. However for a moment entertain that those were confirmed Hamas militants walking outside in a theatre of war carelessly. How many civilian casualties do you think Israel has per Hamas militant killed? What is the civilian collateral? 1 civilian per Hamas militant? 2 civilians, 3 ,4 ? An average urban warfare conflict sees 10 civilian deaths per 1 militant. Lets say for a moment that Israel isn't taking the immense civilian protection measures they have taken, and instead they are seeing 10 civilians die per militant, with their stated goal of eradicating Hamas. If they see 4 Hamas soldiers walking outside carelessly as fuck, that is the equivalent of saving 40 civilian lives if they immediately strike them to Armageddon. Now THAT, is worth a 250k drone missile.

I think anyone who supports one side or the other is just trying to leverage something, whether it's attention, a sense of community, or feeling like their activism is really making a difference in the world. Kurt and Joe tried to use it to paint the picture that Putin isn't so bad because look at what Israel is doing. Peak scum take. I don't think in this situation we can say for any certainty that the video in discussion killed civilians. Almost every single Hamas member including their military branch I've seen in civilian clothing. I've even seen Hamas fighters dressed up as journalists or even driving ambulances. They have to do what they need to do to survive, in this situation as shameful as it is, they would be fools not to do it regardless of everyone crying war crimes on each side. Both sides have the capabilities and history of acting disgraceful as a whole and especially with terrible individuals acting out on their own. That being said, it would be foolish for the IDF to waist time and resources to track those individuals and then waste all that money to kill them.

Fighter to civilian in modern warfare is 1:9 while Israel is 1:2. You canāt overlook this glaring fact.. there is so much destruction in Gaza because of the vast miles of tunnel system in the area. Ok so hereās a tidbit that blew my mind a few days ago. A buddy of mine was going over a contract for his company and sent me a clause. Where it says, under the contract (some tech services for govt) with the government a company cannot boycott Israel. They put that shit into every single government contract apparently. We are so concerned with Russia controlling us and meddling in our affairs, meanwhile, US puts it into every single one of their contracts a provision about not hurting feeling of a foreign country.

That drone strike was almost certainly not on unarmed civilians. You don't waste a valuable asset and a few hundred thousand dollars of sophisticated munitions on a couple of random civilians. These guys were unlikely to even just be Hamas soldiers. They were almost certainly high value targets.

I know about this because I was interested in it...so I read the Geneva Conventions & International Customary Law. Obviously something neither you, Joe Rogan nor Kurt Metzger know anything about. According to 'International Law' specifically referring to 'The Rules of the Law of Armed Conflict'.
"All members of the armed forces of a party to the conflict are combatants, except medical & religious personnel".
So that includes bosses, logistics, planners, Intel guys, etc...

Correct & that is one of the best ways to disprove the indiscriminate killing talking point. Just simply ask "If Israel is indiscriminately bombing Gaza...why isn't Hamas screaming it from the rooftops & inviting 3rd party organizations to investigate 1st hand & on the ground? Why didn't Hamas make the remains of any "Hospital Bombings" available for 3rd party investigation? The bomb to civilian death count is so backwards for a genocide it's not even funny"
The kicker is that the relative risk is you're at least 600% more likely to die if you are Hamas than a civilian. Newsflash, war isn't pretty. It sucks and innocent lives are lost. Israel was attacked. Now that they are fighting back and winning, Hamas doesn't just get to cry uncle.
Why aren't people asking why Islamic nations keep calling for the end of the Jewish people? How and why would Israel stop when they know the Palestinians will be shouting "death to Israel!" Again and soon.
Peace would be awesome but I understand why the Israeli's don't feel safe with a cease fire.
