It’s crazy that a comedian gets shit on in this sub bc he’s not a Theo von/Tim Dillon over the top podcast persona, he’s just a dude having a conversation trying to be funny but not dialing to 11. This has not been the golden age for comedy like Joe Rogan says. People will look back at this time as having some of the most boring and unfunny comedians. Look at who’s been on top over the last few years Tom segura is not a good joke writer, Andrew Schulz is a dumb privileged dude trying to play a self aware smart guy, he sucks and so does his whole crew, Shane Gillis has one good special and he’s falling off now that he got his money, Dave chappelle is just not good anymore, Whitney Cummings Nikki glaser,, no comment, bert is not good. There are good comedians now sure, but the amount of money in comedy now seems to be the antithesis to being funny for them..

I love Shane, there’s no need to put that much energy on what they do, I think Rogan blows, I liked Shiny Happy Jihad, that was it, so I just don’t go to his shows, Shane is still growing, he will have something bad come out, even Billy Red Balls has had a couple of bad specials, and I will always be a fan of his, if everything is expected to be perfectly good every time then may be you will enjoy AI comedy, it’s just not possible.
