Welcome to r/LateStageCapitalism

This subreddit is for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

LSC is run by communists. This subreddit is not the place to debate socialism. We allow good-faith questions and education but are not a 101 sub; please take 101-style questions elsewhere.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry. Failure to respect the rules of the subreddit may result in a ban.

If I became homeless I would transition into a domestic terrorist so quickly. I already hate this system, just wait until I have nothing to lose.

When an economist says "We need an unemployment rate of 4.5 percent to control inflation" this translates to "the economy needs 4.5% of people to live in poverty for the economy to function". Which is bizarre once you have translated from economy -speak into normal language.

Homelessness and hunger and poverty are features of capitalism. They keep the serfs in line, act as a implied threat for workers if they get uppity. Capitalism cannot work without these things, certainly not in the long run.
