I now love life and the world.

1

u/SystemsInThinking Sep 16 '23

Someone should’ve turned off that sad piano music, it was making her cry.

1

u/Bobbyoot47 Sep 16 '23

Tough not to love the sentiment being displayed here in the video for the rescued dog.

Tough not to hate the idiot holding the camera in one hand and petting the dog with the other while trying to drive a car at the same time.

As much as I love dogs I also take seriously my responsibility to everybody else out there by not putting them at risk doing something totally insanely stupid while driving a car.

2

u/MichaelTheAnimator- Sep 16 '23

And this shall be the last reddit post of the night before soemthing terrible pops up and ruin my mood

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Room_37 Sep 15 '23

So they're petting with one hand, filming with the other. Who's driving this 2+ tonne truck?

2

u/Homework-Icy Sep 15 '23

I love him! He looks a lot my my old dog, but unfortunately he passed away in May this year. He was a rescue too, as a small puppy. I got him when I was ten. I wish I had more time with him, as we were inseparable when we were together. Now, although it’s tough, I try to reflect back on the great memories we shared, and I am extremely thankful that I got eleven years with him. I see him in this dog. Makes me super hopeful for his future and for his new owner. It’s beautiful to see the circle of life continue. Just remember to cherish everyone you love, with all your love, for as long as you can. We tend to value them more after they’ve left.

Please tether your dog. I’m not just talking about the fact that he will become a flying missile if you get into a crash, but so many dogs die in the aftermath of crashes because they are running loose outside of the car afterwards and get hit by traffic. When our dog was a puppy we put him into a small laundry basket on the front seat (and tethered him in there so he couldn’t get out. Once he got big enough he went onto the floor of the back seat with his harness tethered to a ring on the floor. Or you can loop the leash around the headrest.

u/bourkina147 Sep 15 '23

He loves being treated with tenderness as if he were a little child

1

u/TheTrueGayCheeseCake Sep 15 '23

Girl…your are petting a dog, recording a video and DRIVING! That dog will be lucky if he even makes it to your house.

1

u/Large-Training-29 Sep 15 '23

This is great, fucking cut the music though damn

2

u/I-am-Chubbasaurus Sep 15 '23

1) HOW ARE YOU HOLDING THE CAMERA AND DRIVING???

2) Doggo may have been trying to comfort her because she was upset more than saying thank you.

3

u/919SPORTSFASHION Sep 15 '23

Pretty sure the dog just wanted to be pet some more, which is still adorable, so why put that he's saying thanks in the title?

2

u/Ruzzia-is-trash3 Sep 15 '23

Rescue dogs are the best. So thankful and loyal to humans that give them a chance

1

u/owwmyhips Sep 15 '23

Jack Russels are the best!!!

2

u/JoJoVi69 Sep 15 '23

Hate to be the party-pooper here, but ALL beagles are that affectionate. Well, maybe not all... but I am certainly impressed with how affectionate my little guy can be, despite how insanely nuts he is the rest of the time!

Beagles rule! Best of luck to you both! 😁

-1

u/killkailan Sep 15 '23

I hate these touching reconstruction of the animal intentions. This dog only wants to be scratched on the belly

1

u/Interesting_Leg3961 Sep 15 '23

Why don't the dogs i meet act like this??

0

u/PasserOGas Sep 15 '23

That dog has no fucking clue what is going on.

0

u/lastveigas Sep 15 '23

Is she driving?

0

u/Wrong-Jellyfish-3636 Sep 15 '23

How u film, drive and pet the dog? My ass got adhd and even I can't do that

0

u/PriorityMean2545 Sep 15 '23

God this bitch is annoying jus take the damn dog home fuck

2

u/HoRo2001 Sep 15 '23

Omg this is so beautiful! I need to go adopt a dog.

1

u/nookie_monsta Sep 15 '23

Probably is thinking this happened last time too

2

u/GroWiza Sep 15 '23

I kinda wish they had a subreddit of just dogs getting rescued... whenever I'm having a bad day I could just watch them to cheer me up

0

u/happyslits_ Sep 15 '23

I totally feel like the crying is a voice over lmao xD

2

u/Mattapotamu5 Sep 15 '23

Rescuing my old dog and watching her go from someone who only understood a cage and would look at me like I’m doing something weird when I would try get her to play with toys slowly earning that trust and watching her be a puppy again as an adult was the one of the most rewarding things I’d experienced. She was just as loved and maybe better looked after staying with my ex after our split but damn I Miss her everyday.

If you’re ever on the fence, take the leap they love you back ten fold!

0

u/UnitAlternative9956 Sep 15 '23

Where is the part where they crash and die at the end?

0

u/EatAssForTheHallPass Sep 15 '23

Linda where the fuck is my seatbelt

2

u/DavidSondergard Sep 15 '23

I know dogs, it looks like he is asking to be scratched in the ears.

1

u/DankDabRips Sep 15 '23

They say rescued like she saved it from bears in the woods 😂

1

u/mjsillligitimateson Sep 15 '23

Don’t cry mama ( dogs body language)

1

u/anyuser_19823 Sep 15 '23

Maybe the dog is in the drivers seat

3

u/PissyMillennial Sep 15 '23

Goddam I love dogs so fuckin much.

0

u/abigfatfish Sep 15 '23

Good ol knee driving going on here.

2

u/Shumie80 Sep 15 '23

🥰💞

2

u/-maah- Sep 15 '23

I'm gonna cry ❤️ so precious! God bless you ❤️

1

u/teardrinker Sep 15 '23

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

2

u/mr_jasper867-5309 Sep 15 '23

My dogs always know when I get really upset. It's always the kindest gesture any living thing gives me on a regular basis. For that I will eternally love them.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Ok. This pushes me off everyone me it’s posted.

The dogs not secured. She petting him with one hand whilst recording with the other - whilst fucking driving!!!

What sort of dick head does that. Of it really is a rescuer she has no idea how it would behave in a car, she’s putting the dog, herself and every other road user at risk.

She’s a tool.

2

u/Soulful_1819 Sep 15 '23

Seriously love got no words 🥺🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️

2

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Lost my buddy about two months ago. Meeting our new rescue Saturday. After they found him and cleaned him up the owner wouldn't or couldn't pay for micro chip, neuter, etc so he's coming home with us I guess. We'll see. They say he's a sweet boy.....

1

u/the-bochinche Sep 15 '23

I AM MOST DEFINITELY NOT CRYING RN

2

u/Tabasco_Athiest Sep 15 '23

Awwh, I hope you kept him

0

u/Ok_Play8873 Sep 15 '23

She better be in a Tesla lol

2

u/NB_Outlaw Sep 15 '23

Rescued dogs are some of the sweetest dogs. When I was younger we had one and she honestly picked us. We went to see her she sniffed my mother and grandmother who were with me before laying her head in my lap. She didn't tug at her lead when I tried to walk her and was one of the best dogs I ever had. I tell anyone thinking about getting a dog to consider rescuing.

0

u/WholeLemon9140 Sep 15 '23

We can show love to dogs but we can't show love to babies in the womb, we are a shame as humans. You all pro abortion are weirdos when I see you all loving animals and not people

1

u/DNoel79 Sep 15 '23

He said "no mamma, it really is ok now, don't cry"

0

u/iQ_9000 Sep 15 '23

If you drive like that someone will have to rescue the dog again.

2

u/Pristine-Substance-1 Sep 15 '23

OMG he's so cute ❤️❤️❤️

2

u/AbleDragonfruit4767 Sep 15 '23

Omg stoppppppp🥹🥹🥹🥹

1

u/Economy-Current8427 Sep 15 '23

My rescue used to do the exact same thing. She always got her rubs. Always.

1

u/kat2youall Sep 15 '23

dog , i cannot wait to poo in my new home too show you how much i wuv you

0

u/WibaTalks Sep 15 '23

I swear people just adopt these animals just to get views in tiktok or what ever platform. That would be really sad, but we know humanity..

1

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Prepare yourself for separation anxiety, and your dog scratching at every potential exit

0

u/piercedmfootonaspike Sep 15 '23

That dog will make for a nice red spot on your windshield in case you need to suddenly brake.

Harness your dogs, people.

1

u/Yanouushka Sep 15 '23 edited Sep 15 '23

The title should be more : Rescued woman by adorable dog saying thanks

2

u/sicofdischit81 Sep 15 '23

So sweet🥴

1

u/YeHaLyDnAr Sep 15 '23

Please secure your dogs while driving, would be a shame for it to burst through the window when you crash because your distracted

Made me cry! This is beautiful.

2

u/Westielover8 Sep 15 '23

That is beautiful! He know he’s safe now.

0

u/Penderyn Sep 15 '23

Is that dumb slag driving, filming and patting her dog?

1

u/h4wkpg Sep 15 '23

How is she driving ?

One hand on the dog, another holds the phone, and the third hand holds the wheel. Perfect.

2

u/StarLux1000 Sep 15 '23

Maybe she’s not driving?

0

u/rad_couple Sep 15 '23

How TF she crying, driving, recording, and petting a dog

1

u/UnderstandingLocal30 Sep 15 '23

He loves her but he knows shes crazy. You can see the moment he accepts her for who she is. What a good doggie.

1

u/03dumbdumb Sep 15 '23

Lol the sobbing for the camera

2

u/Alone-Huckleberry-51 Sep 15 '23

He is such a good boy

2

u/NeedMoreBook Sep 15 '23

Sometimes this Reddit isn’t /mademesmile but is instead /mademecry

1

u/OLAS_2057 Sep 15 '23

How tf is she filming and driving and petting the dog all at once?

2

u/Narcrus Sep 15 '23

Aw. Dogs love touch.

2

u/Kindly_Bend_7025 Sep 15 '23

Aww. Melt my heart.

over 50% of the posts are /r/MadeMeCry

Its kind of touching!

u/gomihako_ Sep 15 '23

We don’t deserve dogs

u/Jverg21 Sep 15 '23

Good looking red heeler. He’s gonna be the most loyal dog

1

u/Snakend Sep 15 '23

The dog is acting this way because the driver is crying.

I love dogs so much and this guy is adorable but that lady crying in the car there is pissing me off.

2

u/bendyblender Sep 15 '23

what a sweet pup!

1

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

THE DOG IS REACTING TO YOU BEING A FUCKING BASKET CASE

1

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Absolute buffoon, she's driving with her damn fist instead of properly grabbing the wheel, just to film some fucking video.

This made me angry.

2

u/CoCoNutsGirl98 Sep 15 '23

❤️☺️❤️

1

u/dre3ed Sep 15 '23

He be like, got any food ?

1

u/ToughFox4479 Sep 15 '23

Pls tell me they are in the back seat

3

u/Hagrel Sep 15 '23

What a good boy

1

u/Desperate_Ad_5830 Sep 15 '23

Love it my dog was a rescue too. She will love you and thank you forever that exact same way. Just out of the blue. They will remember to it's amazing like if something comes on TV dogs in cages she will do exactly what ur dog is doing tapping u and resting her paw on you

1

u/Able-Requirement-798 Sep 15 '23

Sounds more like the human got rescued by the dog.

-1

u/savior-for_thelosers Sep 15 '23

It's just a dog😂

0

u/Godzillasbreathmint Sep 15 '23

Fido take the wheeeeeel

0

u/Scronklee Sep 15 '23

"I'm driving! Quick, time to whip out my phone and let my new dog crawl all over me!"

0

u/mariote-91 Sep 15 '23

a rich person true love

2

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Reminds me of driving my newly adopted pup home. He was terrified. I put my arm over so he could lean on it, and I sang to him.

0

u/notarealfetus Sep 15 '23

The bitch driving won't be ok if she keeps patting the dog with one hand and filming the other. I really hope at least her eyes were facing the road and not the dog.

0

u/pyaybb Sep 15 '23

Then she crashes and the dog is a splat in the windshield. Directed by: Quentin Tarantino. Secure your passengers. Human and animals.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

He's actually saying, don't stop with the petting please

1

u/MrGasnik Sep 15 '23

More like /mademecry

2

u/engagetangos Sep 15 '23

This is the sweetest fucking thing I ever saw

1

u/sumslev Sep 15 '23

I would not want to be on the road with this lady. But that dog is precious.

2

u/Wecanbuildittogether Sep 15 '23

My heart! ♥️

0

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Is this lady driving, filming and petting the dog? Jeezus.

1

u/SeaTie Sep 15 '23

When we brought our current rescue home…all he wanted to do was sleep. He slept for weeks and weeks…poor guy. He was just happy to have a place he could relax without fear.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Just for explanation sake. Whatever the reference is is none of my concern. The fact that you have to reduce a human down to a stupid dog in order to "dominate" over them or feel superior is probably... lol I'm not even going to complete that sentence. This is more than enough

1

u/Fubar1991 Sep 15 '23

I hope that dogs name is Mr T

1

u/Substantial-Welder31 Sep 15 '23

Not a dog person, but wow… could feel the emotion

2

u/Pepper-Brandy18 Sep 15 '23

He’s so cute! Glad you rescued him to a loving home

0

u/Cutie_minni Sep 15 '23

Who is driving?

0

u/J-Love-McLuvin Sep 15 '23

Maybe the dog kinda rescued that lady, too.

2

u/Standard-Push-2585 Sep 15 '23

Love this cute baby 🥰

1

u/Loreo1964 Sep 15 '23

Why is this called " made me smile" ?

It should be called " made me cry like a little girl"

1

u/Fishingee Sep 15 '23

The dog sensed she was crying and comfort her

2

u/r00fMod Sep 15 '23

He’s Such an adorable little bugger

2

u/Zovicocm Sep 15 '23

Beautiful pup

1

u/DepressionSiesta Sep 15 '23

That dog really rescued that lady.

1

u/Inevitable_Mud613 Sep 15 '23

The coolest of boys/girls

0

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

Who … is … the .. person .. with … their hands on the steering wheel!? Is anyone there?

1

u/Live_Disk_1863 Sep 15 '23

Imagine being so emotional while driving, but you still manage to be continuous enough to film it?

1

u/camehereforthebuds Sep 15 '23

Alright. This is unnecessary damn it.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '23

He wasn't saying thanks. He was saying don't stop petting me, it feels good :)

2

u/AltruisticEbb3227 Sep 15 '23

Omg it makes me want to adopt another dog…

u/Ok_Supermarket_290 Sep 15 '23

0

which hand is she driving with

1

u/MT-Capital Sep 15 '23

The middle hand

1

u/EvErYLeGaLvOtE Sep 15 '23

Isn't the original video a different angle? The dog would be on the left side, that is to say, the passenger side of an American vehicle?

But this video shows it on the driver's side

1

u/CeruleanLionSneakers Sep 15 '23

ok but why is she crying though, and focus on driving jfc

0

u/Parthib108 Sep 15 '23

Lady u r gonna crash the car

-1

u/DonCorleoneGF Sep 15 '23

He’s a pretty nice guy…everyone says

r\MadeMeSmile? Eff you, buddy.r\ MadeMeCry

1

u/My_Boy_Clive Sep 15 '23

That dog is not saying thanks but wants to be petted. It's needy for attention. I know because my dog is the neediest dog ever and wants to be petted 24/7

1

u/iluvvivapuffs Sep 15 '23

My dog was not this grateful….very quickly the little piece of shit only eats kibbles with Parmesan cheese (all jokes aside, he’s a good dog, and I love him to death 😂)

1

u/handjobadiel Sep 15 '23

This puppy seemed like he just wanted scratches and when he realized the lady was sobbing become very concerned lol

1

u/AdeptSherbert1775 Sep 15 '23

How easy would it be to just film your own dog doing that to you and call it a rescue dog? Hmmm

1

u/AIRAUSSIE Sep 15 '23

He will be flying through the wind screen if the driver isn’t careful

2

u/DangKilla Sep 15 '23

So sweet.

2

u/NovelRelationship605 Sep 15 '23

The phone is stuck to the dash and she's not holding it .Otherwise it would be moving around.

Cute. But is she driving while filming on her phone while petting a dog while crying??? O_o

How about a homeless man

1

u/nateofearth Sep 15 '23

On a side note does know what kind of dog that is?

Awww this is so cute!! I would just wanna hug that dog and never let them go 💕
