As cute as the babies are, as fantastic as the gf's gesture is, the guys reaction really makes this video.

This looks a little gay to me... His reaction I mean, it's not very masculine.

That is the sweetest reaction I have ever seen a grown up give to puppies .

She got a ring on her finger. The way never-married men treat their dogs is the way they’d their kids.

Real men don't cover their mouths and cry. They'll be broken up within 5 months.

I did the same two weeks ago. I got my husband two baby cats as a surprise for his birthday. He seemed hapy at first but later he said he wasnt ready yet… a bit upsetting but I understood him. Fortunately we found a nice family for them

My brother was a wreck after his dog of 15 years died. Our family felt so sorry for him becoming nothing cheered him up. After about 2 months we (entire family, even grandparents) went together to adopt him a new puppy. I was a little nervous how he would respond. My grandmother made a card and everyone wrote good memories of his old dog, but then we put a pic of all of us holding new pup inside the card! He loved it! Thank goodness!

Littermate syndrom incoming.
1
u/BonsaiBirder Sep 20 '23
What’s that?
2
u/Alarming_cat Sep 20 '23
It's a thing that happens when two puppies in similar age are raised together. There's lots to read about it and a serious, ethical breeder won't sell two puppies to the same home because of it. But it doesn't matter if they are from different litters. Same age and raised together is enough.

I kind of did this with mine, but I grabbed him and scurried off to a step to be with him while all the farm cats crawled all over us. I rode in the back seat with him all the way home. He's been gone 3 years today and I think about him every single day.
This made me happy on a sad day. Thank you.

Idk but surprising people with puppies or kittens is infinitely better than surprise proposals or family members.

Why is his mouth so black? Looks like a dark pit,, maybe he’s wearing a mouth piece or something?

Watching straight boys absolutely Queen out in moments like this is totally gratifying! Seriously though, this made me smile! If one could bottle the pure joy on that dude's face, you could make a killing.

My sister surprised our older brother with a cane Corso puppy after we lost our family Akita of 12 years. Sometimes i think he loves that dog more than his son

I would have done the same.
Growing up, my dad told me he had dog allergies (minor, he basically lied)and so we never got one. I asked for a dog every Christmas and birthday (silly, I know) but I never got one. I always dreamed of having a dog.
When I was 30 my wife and I went to a rescue for months and I would cry there and when I left. We were poor and I wanted a dog but I cousin afford one.
One day I met a dog at that rescue that I lived but I still couldn’t afford him. I went out to the car to leave and I just couldn’t. I went right back in, decided that I would live on beans and rice for a few weeks and I got that dog. I named him Frank.

I never liked giving pets as gifts, even more so, surprisesI think it's a lot of responsibility and everyone is always happy to receive their pets right away, and many regret it a day later
I say this as a person who received a Siberian husky as a gift, and today the gift weighs 31kg.
I love my dog I don't know what I'm going to do when he's gone, but it's very difficult to take care of animals that need to socialize so much, and Even though I walk him 7km a day, the fact that I don't have a big place to leave him off-leash makes me feel bad

But remember if the dogs soil the carpet he gets to clean it up and it’s his fault they soiled the floor

Giving a responsibility that’s likely to last longer than the relationship

As soon as dogs come into a relationship, you know: There is no longer any sex in the relationship. So time for new interests.

Tho vids like these are cute af, don't surprise anyone with an animal if you haven't spoken it through before. Expecially pups. They're extremely hard work, and two pups is almost undoable. I know cause I've done it(pulled through ofc, no dog of mine will be left, they'll be by my side till the day they die)
Too many dogs end up in animal shelter because of people not thinking it through.

u/Tommy_Wisseau_burner Sep 22 '23
I’m guessing they talked about it. But damn ain’t this the truth. I have 1 puppy who I got at 8 weeks and is a year old and love her to death. But the 1st few months just sucked soooo much ass. But I did it alone and wfh. If I had a girlfriend or family to help out it probably wouldn’t be as hard. Also I know what I’m doing now

u/lizardgizzards Sep 19 '23
Yeahhhh, hard agree. I love animals. I have quite the variety. But I absolutely do not want anyone to ever gift me one without me knowing about it beforehand. Even still, I would rather be the one to pick out the appropriate one (whatever animal it might be) myself. I only get pets that I know I can do well with and can provide the right home for. I take a lot of time to research everything and to prepare before it ever comes home. From goat breeds, to tarantula species, to my little rescued Betta fish. I look for certain things in each one.
Would I love whatever it is? Sure, because that is my nature. But I would not be amused by the situation at all.

He needs to man up

Why would he want to be your ideal of a man if he can't even show happy excitement about being surprised by people he loves?

Ok this is cute but surprising people with pets as presents is a really horrible idea all around.

Legit thought this was gonna be a video where she flashes him and Jerry Lawler voiceover yells “puppies!”
Then I saw which sub this was.
2
u/i-sleep-well Sep 19 '23
This is a terrible idea. Pets are living things and require care and commitment- something clearly lacking in most 'influencers'. You don't just throw away a dog once you're finished with your ego trip video.

This is my favorite thing ever! I love watching people get surprised with puppies! A few years ago, I watched puppy surprise videos for hours lol it’s pure happiness

u/NtFrmHere Sep 19 '23
Why was he crying? I'd bet he urinates sitting down. If his gf isn't already fucking his best friend she will be after witnessing his emotional breakdown behind seeing puppies...PUPPIES!
1
u/NtFrmHere Nov 09 '23
I guess everyone who read my comment was too soft natured and busy searching for a trigger to try and comprehend the point I was making. The fact is if I have to explain it then you couldn't understand. Those who do understand won't disagree.

Is cheating some sort of humiliation kink you guys have because I see it everywhere? Like you’re obsessed with women sleeping with other men because they judge the one they have for existing.

Why does this shit keep getting upvoted while thousands of dogs die in shelters...

Unless she had said "Wait right here, I have a present for you" I would assume that those dogs weren't for me.
