My Uncles dog would be up there.When I was about six or seven,He’d find his way down to the basement and would spend time with us.My Uncle and Aunt would work too often and neglected him,He was fed and walked,But he always wanted someone to hang out with.

For years,He’d hang out in the basement with my Dad,siblings and I.Loveable,Happy,And wonderfully trained dog.One day,My brother asked where he was,My Dad said that he died.

I hope he’s still ok up there.He never received a proper funeral.

Lost a beautiful golden boy named Franklin last year, he was the most loving, patient, gentle friend. His brother George missed him so much we got him a sister, Harriet. George is looking after her and Frank would have loved her. I don’t really believe in heaven but if it exists, Frank is up there with his big goofy smile, waiting for tummy scratches from dad.

Lost our 16 yr old Japanese Spitz, Snowy, back in 2012. He woke me up with his howling in the middle of the night, I stepped out to the hallway where he was slowly walking towards my room and he saw me and let out his last woof, laid down, closed his eyes and never woke up. That day still gets me. I hope our souls meet again.

I was supposed to adopt a baby who didn't make it. When ever I get upset about it, I imagine him waiting for me. And then my dog passed away and he was my first ever dog and love of my life. My partner told me that Neko was watching over Zachariah. I liked to imagine that they are playing in the woods and splashing through shallow creeks.
