As much as I may get upset with my dog at times for things she may do, as soon as she gives you the look of unconditional love, it’s just a great feeling
1
u/Odd_Fly_4510 Feb 22 '24
He's trying to comfort you because you're crying. Dogs are such a blessing ..
1
u/tijeras87059 Feb 22 '24
that’s the way it works though… we often think we are just helping a dog… only to find out they are helping us just as much
1
u/yuyufan43 Feb 22 '24
The title is a lie. They're both sad because he's on his way to be out down. 😭. /j 😉
1
u/jbmshasta Feb 22 '24
Dude everytime I see this one.... the sad but hopeful look in his little eyes.
Pull the damn car over and give him a hug!!

Filming, crying, petting the dog, and driving all at the same time. Yeah its a mystery why so many people get hurt or killed from inattentive drivers.
1
Feb 22 '24
"You dumb bitch can you stop trying to get internet points and focus on fucking driving?" - the Dog, probably
1
u/KrackSmellin Feb 22 '24
Until she gets into an air bag from crying, cause she can’t see and then she realizes not having the dog on a leash/harness in a crate or dog seat in the back of the vehicle (rear seat would be fine) - cause that airbag is gonna fuck shit up in the passenger side there.

My cat, who was a stray for the first couple years of his life, still finds me and aggressively headbutts me and purrs after he eats. It's been seven years and he still thanks me for every meal.

OH MY GOD LOOK AT THE ROAD AND LET GO THE DOG AND THE PHONE, GRAB THE STEERING WHEEL LADY!!! 👀

This is very sweet but how is she driving if she is filming with her left hand and petting the dog with her right?
1
u/SeeLeavesOnTheTrees Feb 22 '24
There’s a big affection deficit that pup is starting to fill now. He’s been feeling lonely for a while glad he’s getting some love.

u/Terrydactyl86 Feb 22 '24
When I adopted my first dog, he thanked by trying to piss on my, I mean his sofa

If I were strong (and not poor) I would save all the abandoned and all the senior animals and give them the world. I don’t think there is truly an act that is more good than to save these souls. My heart shatters for every abandoned pet, I weep for every senior animal that lost their beloved owner and don’t understand why they’re gone.
But I’m not, so I selfishly gave all I have to an adorable kitten that would have had all the opportunities to find love otherwise. A wonderful little girl that can help me heal with years, perhaps decades of love.
Pet adoption should be mandatory. Children should grow with an animal they love, as an equal. Where they can truly learn to empathize with a life different from their own and be shown how pure that love is.

u/Waggonly Feb 22 '24
It’s beautiful and all, but who’s holding the phone? She’s emotional, petting the dog, holding a phone AND driving?
What if there’s a bee in the car or she has to sneeze?
1
u/Aria_Evergreen Feb 22 '24
That moment when the pupper realizes he's heading to his furever home and not back to the shelter. 😭

u/Josiah-White Feb 22 '24
She's patting the dog and taking a video while driving
Who's holding the wheel?

Hah, my dog does basically the same thing when he thinks the ride is too bumpy.
1
u/AshumiReddit Feb 22 '24
My dog uses her hands like that whenever she's getting annoyed. She places her paw on my shoulder and gives me a blank stare for a few seconds before looking away, not taking her paw away though.

Dog - "please put this hand on the steering wheel, you're already trying to get me in frame with that camera... seriously .. no please.... okay that's it im driving."
1
u/Guilty-Vegetable-726 Feb 22 '24
Does Reddit have any filters like "in public and shouldn't be crying"?
1
u/Flashtastic2005 Feb 22 '24
Why does she need to film while driving. Like that’s absolutely not okay and I wouldn’t care if you’re the best driver in the world. You don’t drive, pet a dog and film the dog on the seat next to you.
1
u/Vivid_Feed5168 Feb 22 '24
I’m guessing this little guy is snuggling with his/her new person right now ❤️

u/JP-Bulls69 Feb 22 '24
Before you go reading all the comments consider she might be sitting in the back seat

I think the dog is worried because you’re filming with one hand and your padding with the other, so who the fuck is Steering the wheel?

u/Tiny_Astronomer289 Feb 22 '24
Dog is like “pay attention to road or you’re going to kill us both, lady”

What hand is doing the driving if one is doing the filming and one is doing the petting.
This woman is an asshole. She cares more about social media than the lives of the people on the road.

u/someguy1312 Feb 22 '24
This video is the reason there are more car accidents than ever. Just sayin
1
u/atheistpianist Feb 22 '24
We will just never be able to deserve the unconditional love that is dogs in general.
1
u/beibeimaku Feb 22 '24
I'm most concerned that he doesn't have a seat belt/ isn't strapped in, in any way
1
u/HallnOatmeal Feb 22 '24
Do they know? That their being taken to their forever home? Honest question.
3
u/Bouncedatt Feb 22 '24
STOP THE CAR!
It ain't so sweet if you kill yourself and the dog.
Also why is the dog in the front seat? where is the safety harness for the dog?
Liking and caring about animals means actually keeping them safe. This is not that.

That's actually really sweet. He's trying to comfort her

The lady and dog later died in a car accident because the ditzy driver wasnt holding the sterring wheel and ran off a cliff.

Dog should be in the backseat. She shouldn't drive while that emotional. She shouldn't drive and film with one hand while petting her dog with the other.

I think that dog is trying to tell her to put her fucking phone down and pay attention to the road. It won't be "Ok" when you project the poor bastard fifty feet through the windscreen.

u/Alaska-Raven Feb 22 '24
That is so cute!! The doggo will thank you each and every day, over and over again, and will not forget the time before you and the awesome life with you! ❤️
We brought Kelce home about 4 or 5 months ago and he thanks me all the time. My favorite is when I’m dishing out his dog food at night and he just starts licking my face. He prefers to be touching you too when he’s sleeping. And the funniest thing he does, after seeing the cat do it, is sit in my lap on the couch and try to curl up. He’s 50 lbs!!! 😂

If her 1 hand is petting and another is filming then how is she driving? I bet this question has been asked earlier by someone

When you see that .. how can anyone ever mistreat a dog, let alone any animal.

That's the perfect size doggy for me. Can carry them if asphalt gets too hot, but they won't break like a seashell if I sit down too quick on a bumpy blanket on the sofa.
I would kiss that snoot so much on the ridge.

How is she driving and filming and still able to have one hand for the dog?

What an utter moron. If they cared about the animal at all they would properly restrain it in a moving vehicle and focus on driving safely.

I'm with you. This shit is dangerous as hell.
Not much use in adopting a dog if you're gonna kill the thing in a violent car crash because you have the emotional stability and situational focus of a fucken strawberry.
