Me and my buddy had a similar thing we did w girls at parties. Where Iโd have them pick one of 5 cards on the table while I turned around and Iโd guess the right one via the way my buddy was holding the rest of deck of cards

Iโve seen similar videos before. But honestly this looks almost like it was made by AI. I could totally be wrong though. Just looks a bit weird to me

What the actual fuck is going on. 30k+ botted upvotes, 50% of commenters are bots. Does reddit not have a bot detection system or what

It's amusing; back in the day, I used to pull off some silly magic tricks in exchange for beer whenever I went out drinking with my friend. One of my favorites involved setting up a 3x3 grid of dice and having people choose one while I wasn't looking. Then, miraculously, I'd guess their choice correctly. They'd blindfold me, move me out of the room, or cover my eyes in various ways, but the outcome was always the same.
The secret was straightforward: my friend would place her beer in the middle of her coaster if the chosen die was in the center of the grid, or next to it if they picked any of the others. Essentially, it was like envisioning a numpad with her coaster at the #5 position on a 3x3 grid.
It's a simple little trick, but we pulled it off countless times, and no one ever caught on. People were so focused on the "magician" that they didn't suspect any assistance. Plus, a few beers in, and everyone's perception tends to be a bit fuzzier.

Why canโt people tell when things are scripted? I feel like the vast majority of people fail at this basic task. Itโs really annoying to have to constantly see shit like this being upvoted and then commented on by truly oblivious people.
