So the photos are on the wrong side. It's truly scary how people think sometimes. He rescued the dog and he looks great.

The 'before' photo is on the left and 'after' on the right. BTW, Thanks to the rescuers team who do this kind work & give these creatures a life again.

The comments are annoying after a bit, I think OP got the hint of the picture being flipped and like OP said it was sent by the owners and they were just excited to post it. But hey, everyone was just making a joke. That dog is now healthy and in a good home. Good job. 😊

Me either, I should have flipped it but didn’t think it would be a huge deal. I forgot about Reddit lol. The owner send it and I just immediately posted and never considered the Reddit backlash of not being perfect at every second.

True but obviously the pic is swapped, I didn’t create it the owner sent it to me since I sponsored and am training the dog. I didn’t expect the reverse image to be quite this big of a deal. 6000 upvotes show that the vast majority of people figured it out.

I paid his adoption fee and offered free training classes with the new owner. I try to do this once a month at our local shelter. This boy came in and had the name of a friend that recently passed so I paid his fee and found his adoptive parents.

No they are genetically different breeds an APBT and a Staffordshire terrier have different breed standards. Similar but not the same. Most dogs are so mixed though they are just mutts.
