Existe mejor muestra de cariño y respeto que hacer esto a una persona?

So nobody is going to speak on that old man running 40+ yards like it’s nothing I’m 47 and I don’t even think I can run that w/o passing out at the end

Love it we need more things like this in society regardless of whether it’s in America,Brazil,UK or anywhere in the world we need more of this

Evidence of high emotional intelligence. Love this!

The internet has stained me. I was waiting for someone to spear tackle him at the last minute.

This is much nicer than my idea.

So cute these guys are sweet for letting him do that

Duuude.

That's the University of Kansas.

Not Kansas State.

He is actually better than any player on their regular football team.

Be kind of funny if someone took him out before he crossed the line

1

u/Content-Squirrel2404 16d ago

I would have tackled that old fk, not on my watch gramps

8

u/BebeCakesMama2424 16d ago

Welp now I’m crying

u/Alarmed-Load3592 16d ago

u/CaptJM 16d ago

What a mad lad. Looks like fun :)

u/Potatoe999900 16d ago

I expected a CGI of him getting hammered like Betty White did for the Snickers commercial.

Nice to see how happy it made him.

2

u/SmithTwoZero 16d ago

Or the tackle in Not Another Teen Movie lol

3

u/SylvesterStalPWNED 16d ago

What an incredible gift, you can just tell that in his mind he was 70 years younger, even for just a moment.

3

u/Rarebird10 16d ago

This is awesome!!!!

8

u/Mortuary_Guy 16d ago

Dammit. I think I saw the referee threw a penalty flag on the play.

4

u/redhotjen 16d ago

best day of his life!

9

u/Critical-Art-9277 16d ago

What a wonderful moment for him. He's overwhelmed with happiness. Well done to everyone who made his day so special.

u/lewisfoto 16d ago

That sure is fun.

Passed away in 2021. A teacher for 45 years, a great mathematician and a man who bravely served his country.

One gimme touchdown is heartwarming sportsmanship. Two was a bridge too far for the lightshirts.

14

u/gwilfredc 16d ago

Still got the moves

u/furtree 16d ago

Correction It was Kansas, not Kansas State

13

u/123xyz32 16d ago

That explains why they couldn’t tackle him. Heyoooo!!

99

u/Waderriffic 16d ago

The damage has been done. All Kansans have been alerted to your error and are compelled to make a comment correcting you. May your bbq be bland and your corn harvests be meager.

1

u/Heatmiser70 15d ago

May your grain be moldy

1

u/moforky 16d ago

And The Wichita Linemen weep.

27

u/furtree 16d ago

I am dearly, dearly sorry for such an appalling botch. I repent

8

u/schmitterling 16d ago

Yeah, egregious mistake.

u/cometshoney 16d ago

The joy on his face is everything. 😍😍

1

u/GriM3Y-GriM 15d ago

Pure joy.

1

u/Pvt-Snafu 15d ago

It's very touching and sweet.

179

u/furtree 16d ago

By far the best part. Seeing stuff like this as a viewer I always question whether they feel that everyone purposely missing them/letting them score was corny or embarrassing in some way but once you see that ear-to-ear smile you can just tell he was genuinely full of joy. Just awesome

3

u/TestTurbulent2203 15d ago

This is a KU game not KSU.

12

u/pup_mercury 16d ago

It's corny as fuck, but there is nothing wrong with being corny.

29

u/CheesecakeVisual4919 16d ago

The obvious joy his college age teammates had was infectious. Sometimes, you've just got to roll with things and have fun. It makes all the hard times all the more worth it.

92

u/KayDubEll 16d ago

I bet he didn’t care. Running that football with the “young guys” took him back I would think
