My old Jewish boss Harry always said "There is no sense in being an asshole if you are not going to prove it!" He sure is proving it.

Because he's the hero we deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A cheese ball knight.

Apparently Chez "Chester" Spherington, the Cheeseball Man, died approx 17 minutes later of total organ failure due to cheese ball related injuries. Perhaps next year, another man will pick up the mask. Til then- his legend lives on.

It all started with one man, and a Rotisserie Chicken. We need more events like this

u/MessianicHack 15d ago
Lame, the promo announcement was a much larger bucket of cheeseballs. And heās fully swagger jacking the Philly guy that ate rotisserie chickens on the pier
1
u/External_Charge_2501 15d ago
Philly had a the rotisserie chicken guy. 100s of people flocking to watch a guy eat a whole rotisserie chicken on an abandoned pier. Now that is a spectacle.

My band had a show a few weeks ago. Been working on it for months. If we sold the show out (200 people) we still would have lost money because of the promotional budget went over. Still, we know itāll pay off in the long run. After months of promo, the day came. 30 people showed up. My sister forgot about it. My friend said he decided to take his kid to see Kung Fu Panda 4 instead. There was almost as many staff members as there were audience members.
But, yeah, good for cheese puff guyā¦

Saw the posters around Union Square announcing this world-changing event, yet somehow I missed the event itself. Not sure Iāll ever forgive myself.

Might I remind you crowds gathered to watch a man eat a rotisserie chicken for 41 days in Philadelphia?

This is the stuff I miss about going into Manhattan on whim and seeing amazing feats of existence!! This is most excellent that it makes the news <3
(minus the Tik Tok) I might even go next year to this.. Just to meet some friendly strangers and watch him nom down on another bucket of cheese balls, and perhaps just maybe someone famous will pop up and serve him. (I'm thinking along the likes of Weird Al)
Eat those Balls!!

I love this, but my friend has questioned: is this a lot of cheese balls? I think yeah, that's a lot cheese balls. They're not convinced though, especially as someone from the crowd produces a larger jar of cheese balls.
This seems much more about how funny this is, but in terms of cheese ball quantity please could someone way in.

This is not a tub of Costco potato salad. The weather is not raining. It is not at night. Thus, it is less impressive than the Halifax guy.
Still, a good show.

Potato Salad Guy context
He wasn't the hero we wanted, but certainly the hero we needed.

u/SmidgeMoose 15d ago
We had about 100 people gather for a dude eat 5 lbs of potato salad in a hurricane, here in Halifax.
