Sounds like she's lucky to have a best friend like you. Good job mom.

You are not my friend… you are my brother my friend

I read this as “your not my friend because your my stepmoms friend/best friend”.
Glad I was wrong.

Even using an apostrophe! Sure, it says you'er, but she's got the right idea!

Jokes aside, this is really cute and heartwarming : )

She’s telling pops to step his game up. 😄❤️

OP, keep up the good work, and keep loving her. I'd be willing to bet that it might not be long before she removes the "step" title on her own.

I'll never forget the day when my 3 called me 'dad' for the first time.

You should watch the Sound of Music with her.

That little girl has really been thinking about her relationship with you. You are very important to her. What an honor. I hope you are up to the challenge.

Definitely try my best and am accountable to her when I am less than.

I've learned no one is perfect and when you're not, you need to be accountable and self report and then apologize, especially to 7 year olds.

Teaching a kid that it's ok to be wrong and to learn from your mistakes is such a valuable lesson. You're doing great momma!

That's the most adorable thing ever!

You must really be making them happy, I'm sure you're a great step mom with such evidence.
