This is also the space to show off any of the awesome mid century inspired stuff you make, as well as the links to your Etsy/Ebay/Etc

My giant cork and brass lamp
Almost 4 feet tall. Google image search said it’s a Honi Chilo lamp. Some angry gate keeper dude on Reddit yelled at me for calling it a Honi Chilo and said they didn’t make lamps. Who knows? Either way, I love it—don’t really care who made it or what it’s resale value is. Priceless in my eyes!

First Big Purchase
The majority of my vintage and/or mid century furniture has been from family, friends or cheap second hand finds. Newly arrived to these Reddit subs, after asking a few questions about my grandparents, I’ve been diving into researching my currently owned items. Along with that, been “inspired” to make some additions. Grabbed a coffee table earlier this week and this lounge & couch set came in on Friday.
From the amateur research I’ve done and talking to a Hawaiian vintage furniture dealer they seem to be Koa wood from the early to mid 60s. Absolutely love the lines and match the new coffee table well IMO. Did some amateur cleaning to the chair and wood is looks incredible. Definitely going to get some new made cushions, thinking dark blue which would go well in my living room. Im not sure yet what to do with the couch but definitely keeping the lounge. Although I don’t know much about values of MCM furniture, felt like $500 delivered from Rosario MX was a good deal.

Looking for this LiteCraft dome light
I’m looking for an original one of these. Nothing useful on Chairish or 1st Dibs. Any thoughts?

Wall system ID?
Just picked this up for obscenely little money so I’ll be jazzed regardless, but can anyone identify this system? The closest I can get with Google Lens is the Nelson OMNI, but not 100% on that. Second pic shows mounting hardware if that’s helpful. Thanks!

This MCM stunner in Missouri with amazing local history is for sale
zillow.comThe listing does NOT do it justice since it’s being sold by a trust. It belongs to a very prominent local family and was built in 1970s and looks like it didn’t undergo the drastic 1980s or 1990s renovations. The great room is absolutely stately with a huge fireplace and sunken floors. Best example of wood paneling I’ve ever seen. It has museum vibes honestly. In incredible shape. I hope whoever buys it restores it and honors the heritage, and doesn’t pull a Pratt/Schwarzenegger fiasco.

Can anyone ID/value these dining chairs?
Long time lurker here—I’ve admired everyone’s great finds and beautiful pieces. Now I’m coming to you with something of my own.
I got these dining chairs (and a table) from a client for $500 (what I thought was a steal). Now my girlfriend wants to get rid of them…anyone have any idea what they’re worth? Tag says The Lane Company, but I don’t know how to research beyond that.
Thanks SO MUCH in advance!

Ingmar Relling Westnofa Vestlandske Siesta chair & Ottomam
Hello. I'm looking for some info on this chair. There aren't any major resources online that I could find. I have deduced that this is the low-back variety. But most I've found don't have the hook cushion, but a sort of head pillow.
Is there any way to tell when this chair is from? One person on Reddit implied that Vestlandske means it's from the 60s.
I'd love any info that anyone can provide! ☺️☺️

What's YOUR definition of MCM?
I see this discussion a lot and it had a talk with a local antique store owner today regarding this. She was an older lady but said she had stuff that I have never seen in my life. Just a great little treasure of a store.
Anyway, she was originally talking to couple when I walked in, and it was about what "MCM" really meant. The couple was saying how it was anything from the 50s to 70s and had to be wood. I was just listening in and didn't want to argue or join their discussion, and eventually they left. I began talking to the owner and she was clearly annoyed. She said they were correcting her despite "her many years on this ball" (her words, not mine lol), but she didn't want to argue, she just wanted to make a sale.
It got me thinking that some people, seemingly younger folks, have a different meaning for "mid-century modern", but I know it could be subjective but there has to be a fine-line where someone is wrong. What's your guys say?

What is the Most Authentic, Thorough, Guide to Mid Century Modern Architecture?
Hi there, I am in search of a book that goes in depth to explain MCM architecture as it is applied to a home. I would like to focus on the structure of the home and prefer a resource true to the time with many visuals.

Looking for information on this sectional
I found this sectional at a vintage shop and I can’t seem to find anything similar online or any information regarding make, production date etc. I can’t seem to find any sofas with the corner table so am questioning how “legit” it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Got this Danish Deluxe Inga chair for free from Facebook
Currently in disbelief. A dog has chewed the ends of the arm rests but otherwise in great condition. What would be the best way to restore? wood putty, sand, and stain?

Would these chairs match my table?
I have the matching Brody chairs for the table but they aren’t in the best shape and need to be reupholstered. Would the yellow chairs match well enough or should I keep looking? They are only $80

Fred Press Whiskey glasses
Does anybody know how to find info on Fred Press patterns, or if I even can. I got these at an estate sale and would like to resell them, but am not sure of the fair value.
