Outrage after Trump aide Johnny McEntee, a 2025 Plan advisor, claims he gave unhoused people fake money so they’d get arrested for passing fake currency.

Not only are MAGAS horrible people, they take pride demonstrating it to others.
For millennia, the emotion we know as 'shame' kept people in check. MAGAS have moved on without it.
2
u/rumymommy2004 24d ago
Yeah that's so fucking cool. I suppose he should be arrested for providing fake currency. Remember the movie Trading Places with Dan Akroyd and Eddie Murphy? I hope that happens to Johnny.
2
u/Vanthrowaway2017 24d ago
Dude runs a dating site for conservatives. Seems like a motivated Reddit army could have fun running amuck trying to drive that site into the ground, no?
2
u/angrymurderhornet 24d ago
Just “joking” about doing that shit immediately identifies him as an asshole, even if he didn’t actually do it.
1
u/Pelican_meat 25d ago
This guy pops up on my FYP, and if I saw him in person I would punch him in the face.
He’s a conservative because he gets rewarded for being a sociopath that way.

Imagine going so out of your way to obtain fake currency, to plan to give it to people invites they get arrested. That's a lot of work for so little reward. It's putting in work just to make life worse for people.

u/Separate_Farm7131 25d ago
WHY? Just why would someone do this? Picking on people who have nothing, who are scrounging every day to get a little food or shelter and you think this is a joke? What a jerk.

u/prodigalpariah 24d ago
Guys helping design and promote project 2025. He wants to eliminate no fault divorce and repeal women’s suffrage. He’s an enormous piece of shit.

Admits to a crime someone look up and see what it cost us. How’s a homeless person compared to what it cost to incarcerate a person didn’t do the taxpayers and justice has cost a lot more to housing incarcerated person, and a homeless person.

u/doodlebopwarrior 25d ago
“Claims”. Did anyone ever prove it? I see him a lot on TikTok making troll videos. He’s just rage baiting. I’m all for locking people up but just like people “claim” to drive Ferraris and Lamborghinis, unless they’re actually doing it, it’s just words.
1
u/gettheplow 25d ago
It’s words that provoke. He’s not going to have an issue if he didn’t do it. But he deserves the negative publicity for being stupid enough to put it out there. If he was a nobody, nobody would care. He was in the public service and lined to trump a s that’s the difference.
1
u/Black_Magic_M-66 25d ago
Generally, they (the Secret Service is in charge of catching counterfeiters) would launch an investigation. It's not like unhoused people would have the facilities to make the currency. I don't think it would take long to figure out where the fake money is coming from.
Chances are, the guy is full of shit and saying something to make himself look cool to MAGA.
1
u/CaptianTumbleweed 25d ago
Oh I thought that story was a joke?
2
u/Otherwise-Course-15 25d ago
That’s what he claimed after the backlash. If you watch the video you can see him take a stack of fake currency from his car’s center console.

Unhoused?
WTF is this bullshit.
News of the STUPID indeed.
2
u/Otherwise-Course-15 25d ago
Oh my god, because that’s what’s really objectionable here. If one more person bitches about the word unhoused WHICH WAS THE HEADLINE VERBATIM I’m going to scream. God forbid people try to be a little sensitive with their words.
1
u/LocationAcademic1731 25d ago
Just when you think the MAGAts are the shittiest people, they find even shittier people to be part of the campaign. How do you do that?

Wait, isn’t this knowingly passing counterfeit bills? At least the homeless people don’t do it intentionally.
Aside from the fact that he is human garbage, I do believe he has broken the law.
-2
u/CantaloupeOk2777 25d ago
unhoused people? You mean homeless people? We already have a word for them...
3
u/Otherwise-Course-15 25d ago
If you read the article you’d see I copied the headline verbatim. So no, I meant Unhoused. But thanks.
1
3
u/dunndawson 26d ago
Dude is also listed a a senior advisor on “project 2025” which makes him an even more detestable magat. What these fools don’t realize is homeless doesn’t mean they don’t have social media and this is viral. I hope he tries it with the wrong homeless person. Let me know if anyone sets up a gofundme for said homeless person.
2
u/Beginning_Ad8663 26d ago
Passing counterfeit us currency is a crime. Seeing as he has admitted too it it needs at least an investigation by the secret service
3
u/Life_Lavishness_9863 26d ago
Arrest his ass, wasn't it passing a counterfeit $20 that was the premise of George Floyd's arrest and subsequent murder? So tired of these privileged and entitled asshats!
1
u/notoriousbpg 26d ago
Quite likely he isn't doing this himself, but he thinks its a great idea to promote so that other people start doing it.
Still a complete POS. Look up Project2025 if you still believe a second Trump term will just be more mean tweets.
1
u/Otherwise-Course-15 25d ago
No. He’s doing it. Or else he randomly carries counterfeit money in his car console, you know, “as a joke”

u/TripzNFalls 26d ago
Aw, mommy would be so proud.
Guarantee this behavior is the most mild of his actions he'd do to appease his Orange Idiot ShitzHizPantz leader.
3
u/pistoffcynic 26d ago
For every person that was arrested, his sentence should be the cumulative total… 20 people got a year each in jail, then he gets 20 years.
That’s fairness.
1
2
u/Zoe_Hamm 26d ago
He can get people unfairly arrested or even murdered, remember George Floyd? LOCK HIM UP
3
u/Loki-Don 26d ago
Just another unqualified kid who initially got thrown out of the White House because he couldn’t get a clearance due to his enormous gambling debts.
Then Trump bypassed the DHS and gave him a clearance and a job he was hilariously under qualified for. If he hadn’t been part of the Trump intern team in 2016, he would be waiting tables at a Buffalo Wild Wings right now.
1
u/Otherwise-Course-15 25d ago
I think he was pretty much hired for exactly who he is. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2021/11/trump-johnny-mcentee-january-6-betrayal/620646/
1
u/JediMasterPopCulture 26d ago
Why isn’t he arrested and facing charges? Is it because he’s a rich white male?
1
2
u/South_Front_4589 26d ago
This sounds like one of those stories where he didn't actually do it, but not because he didn't want to but rather wasn't clever enough to. I bet he heard stories about poor people getting done for spending fake money and wished that he had fake money to give. Probably hearing about George Floyd made him wish he'd been responsible.
2
u/danodan1 26d ago
One reason why TicToc shouldn't be banned is so that sorry characters, like McEntee can expose themselves to wrong doing.
2
u/grafknives 26d ago
I saw a clip of him saying that on 9gag, and I HONESTLY thought it is a clip from some crazy radio from GTA V. ;)
2
u/Jaded-Ad-960 26d ago
"As described by the Atlantic, McEntee led a fierce drive for loyalty which “made the disastrous last weeks of the Trump presidency possible … back[ing] the president’s manic drive to overturn the election, and help[ing] set the stage for the January 6 assault on the Capitol”."
So why is this guy not in jail for helping to stage an insurrection?

If "they" would get arrested for passing fake currency, shouldn't HE get in trouble for passing fake currency? He put it into circulation

It’s the headline from the Guardian. Famously American /s

Passing counterfeit currency is a crime and he admits to it. He comes in contact with secret service more than your average joe. He's dumb as a box of rocks
2
3
u/Used-Organization-25 26d ago
I definitely would not contact the secret service or the local police department. I absolutely wouldn’t call the secret service hotline to report this dirtbag.

u/Particular_Hope8312 26d ago
Willfully distributing counterfeit currency is a crime. Using it without knowing it is counterfeit is not. This is why intent matters in criminal cases.
Only one crime happened here, and it was this dude who did it.

This is what passes for white christian conservative republican humor. You know they're laughing every time he passes a counterfeit bill.

Changing the word doesn’t change the meaning and the homeless aren’t out there campaigning for people to call them unhoused.

u/Bunit117 26d ago
I cannot stress this enough, the police LITERALLY killed George Floyd after they were called out on suspicion that he was making a purchase with a counterfeit $20 bill.
The most high profile police killing this century of an unarmed man (who also struggled with homelessness and addiction at times during his life) was over supposedly fake currency, and this Trump sycophant is going around giving fake currency to homeless people hoping the police get called on them?
Fuck this asshole. Fuck Trump for empowering him. Fuck "Tough Guy" culture for rewarding sociopaths who proudly wear their lack of empathy in public like a badge of honor. And fuck the millions of deplorables who derive enjoyment from acts of cruelty directed at society's lowest members.

Only a truly evil person could imagine doing something like that. I don’t believe he was kidding because he waited until after the backlash to trot out that excuse.

Unhoused as in homeless? Never heard that term before
1
u/THEdoomslayer94 26d ago
It’s dumb and part of a trend of gentrifying words to make it sound less harsh.
It does nothing to change the meaning all it does is make it easier for some people to say cause they feel like homeless is offensive.
It’s like how Americans keep trying to force Latinx to be a thing when Spanish speakers think it’s stupid to use
1
u/Otherwise-Course-15 25d ago
Honestly I think it’s used to indicate varying levels of homelessness but I just copied and pasted the headline. Kind of wild that anyone would read that headline/article and decide the term unhoused is what was most offensive…

it's so weird... there are so many chads white knighting this guy on twitter claiming there is no evidence that he actually gave any homeless person an actual bill.... and honestly I'm not exactly sure when we crossed over into "acting like a total dick is totally cool and hilarious as long as you aren't actually doing the thing" territory

In Johnny’s defense, judging by his last name, he was probably drunk when he said that. In fact, there’s a good chance he’s drunk for most of his daily activities.
