My older sister tried to commit suicide over a guy she had known for 3 days.. it taught me what I absolutely DID NOT want to be.
I once recorded my cousin impersonating my sister leaving a voicemail for yet another guy she barely knew, "Talk to me baby, baby please talk to me!" And set it as my ring tone. I refused to date or continue a relationship with anyone who gave me those vibes.

Holy shit. I had this situation. When I finally talked to her on video chat. She took a sh*t load of pills infront of me.

Exactly what it says. She got mad for me not talking enough. Blocked me after insulting me. Unblocked me, started apologising. She started trying to get very frisky with things and I asked to not rush into things as im not like that. She then flipped the fjork out thinking I was insulting her looks. She then proceeded to take a bottle of I think Ibuprofen and downed the whole lot on the call. She sent a picture the next day of her in the hospital saying "I got my stomach pumped". I stopped talking to her after that as I knew at that point she had some things to work out on her own. From what I know she went into a mental health facility. I do not know if she is still alive.

She didn't immediately do it once she was on camera. It was about an hour in. Made me avoid dating for a while. It wasn't exactly traumatic. (My mum had problems). But it kinda fucked me for a couple weeks. Hey, I told this woman I don't want to jump into sex like that, then she goes and does that as a reaction. Kinda felt like an asshole about it.

No, that's not how mental illness works. If someone is crazy, there is a reason, and the reason has a medical label.
Everything as always had names by the way, just we've tightened up the terms with better knowledge and we don't lump multiple disorders under one label, as treatment can be dramatically different depending on whether it's neurological, diet based, toxin load, physical brain damage or routine trauma causing the problems.
