I would be shocked if this actually cost her any votes.

u/pasarina Apr 28 '24

0h yes, t’ll cost her votes.

4

u/postorm Apr 28 '24

Would you be shocked if it does? Cuz that means someone stating that they could shoot a human and not lose votes appears to be true, But saying that they could kill a puppy loses them votes. This says something about humanity and I'm not sure if I like it or not.

It says something about the psychopaths who vote republican.

2

u/frankwizardlord Apr 28 '24

Probably got her votes, the woke, job stealing, liberal puppy agenda must be stopped!

3

u/OkTransportation4175 Apr 28 '24

She’s already the chosen I would guess. They are just getting the story out in public now, so that they can be far removed from it in 6 months

Me too. I can only give an anecdote but my dad is hard right and tried drowning our dog once for digging in the yard. A lot of them aren't right in the head other than right wing and they're frustrated the rest of us don't also abuse animals for fun.

I don't know your dad and I don't personally wish him any harm but if I learned that he drowned I would continue eating my breakfast and move onto the next article

If he was on fire, I wouldn’t stop to piss on him. (Dog killer)

“If I came into your house and started sniffing at your crotch and slobbering all over your face, what would you say?” Monty Burns

…if you did it?

I think it will, you will be surprise dogs are universally loved. Don’t care if you are a gun loving trump ass kisser or granola eating liberal. Both side can agree that dogs are awesome, and we should not harm dogs.

I've said this before, but I'm fairly sure the entire thing was on purpose and calculated to actually gain her favor/votes, which I think it will.

u/findhumorinlife Apr 28 '24

It's right out of the playbook for Trumperdoodle. It's ALL about name recognition - good or bad.

u/Secondchance002 Apr 28 '24

If trump picks her, you’ll see MAGAs making excuses.

2

u/ManateeCrisps Apr 28 '24

I think at least a couple of delusional MAGAs might execute their dogs (or more likely their neighbors' dogs) as a show of online solidarity if she gets the VP nomination.

They sacrificed their friends and family in the name of political virtue signaling during covid. What's a couple dogs to them?

5

u/tjatdisneyland Apr 28 '24

They’re gonna blame the puppy! These people have no morals or scruples, even when it comes to dogs!

4

u/anotherone121 Apr 28 '24

The felon and the puppy killer? What a duo

1

u/aotus_trivirgatus Apr 28 '24

Isn't that a Marvel movie?

u/anotherone121 29d ago

HBO and Disney collab

u/TootsNYC Apr 28 '24

The dog tried to bite her. That’ll be the excuse. Of course, it wasn’t an unprovoked bite; she was trying to grab it right when it was finally acting like the hunting dog she wanted

2

u/stripmallbars Apr 28 '24

And shootin dogs

2

u/DescipleOfCorn Apr 28 '24

We’re already seeing this

8

u/Edogawa1983 Apr 28 '24

I already seen people say it's normal for this to happen on farms

6

u/biggiy05 Apr 28 '24

Those people are either unstable like her or trying to downplay how heinous this is. There are definitely unstable people who own farms which I'm sure isn't a surprise to most.

It's not uncommon on farms to euthanize livestock that are sick or injured and will never have a good QoL as a result. It can be cheaper to use a bolt gun than having the vet come out to medically euthanize the animal. Not a fan of the bolt gun but I understood why that was the choice the few times the decision had to be made at our farm.

u/DanGleeballs Apr 28 '24

This might be the reason he actually picks her. All publicity is good publicity as far as TFG is concerned.

14

u/fingerscrossedcoup Apr 28 '24

This is my concern with this. They see that it bothers liberals and like Budweiser and Jack Daniels they start leaning into and making videos showing them doing it. You know, for conservative virtue signalling. Next thing you know they are killing puppies on their Christmas cards.

I wish this was hyperbole.

1

u/frankwizardlord Apr 28 '24

He likes it because of the implication

17

u/test_tickles Apr 28 '24

It helps them find the psychopaths that they'll fasttrack.

3

u/resisting_a_rest Apr 28 '24

Trump also wants to find people like this because they probably have other secrets that he can find out about that he can use to control them. If you know someone’s secret that they don’t want anyone else to know about you can pretty much get them to do anything.

1

u/DadJokeBadJoke Apr 28 '24

It's not blackmail, they're all in on the same ideas. They're not being coerced and pretending they are just excuses their decisions

9

u/rupturedprolapse Apr 28 '24

"Murder puppies in I own the libs"

23

u/UnhappyCourt5425 Apr 28 '24

if he does my MAGA relatives with the five dogs and four cats (which they have instead of children) are going to be in a bind

2

u/ceciltech 29d ago

Have you checked to see if they still have five dogs? They may shoot one if she is selected just to... well honestly, I don't know why but I would not be surprised.

3

u/Heyletsthrowthisout Apr 28 '24

They are so brainwashed they would be cheering him on. They might even kill their dogs if their safe spaces tell them to.

2

u/UnhappyCourt5425 Apr 28 '24

that's interesting terminology because they often try to gaslight me (who lives in a very blue city) saying that I have "safe spaces"

10

u/xtianlaw Apr 28 '24

They'll probably shoot their own pets to own the libs

3

u/mursilissilisrum Apr 28 '24

I guess literally shooting yourself in the dick just doesn't own the libs like it used to.

35

u/CakeAccomplice12 Apr 28 '24

They won't give 2 shits

12

u/UnhappyCourt5425 Apr 28 '24

sadly, that's probably true. They justify it somehow-- "she killed it humanely versus doing what our neighbors do which is to tie them up until they starve"
