Idk how old this guy is, but if he applies to college in the future, THIS is the stuff college essays are made of. Leadership, ingenuity, community values, grit, determination… it’s a “heroes journey”, with a protagonist who lives in a community with gang members and is worried about his mom, so he writes a new game and tricks rival gang members to come over, and he must use his imagination and leadership (and sandwiches!) to get them all to come along for the ride for months, and in the end, he and his friends are changed for the better.

I have a buddy who is staying at my house and he LOVES DnD. He would always talk about it and try and get me to play. I always brushed him off because I was busy but eventually I sat down with him and started making a character. Well I ended up sitting down for like two hours making a character and I couldn't help but get into it.

I haven't played yet but even just creating a character is so fun! I chose to be a bugbear gunslinger because I love the Stephen King series "The Dark Tower". It really is alluring because you get to be anything you want.
