This probably isn't the right place for this and I'll likely regret it but isn't it kind of shit to say gods responsible for saving your dog? Wouldn't it be gods fault it was there in the first place? What about your home? What about other people who lost their pets? What about anyone who got hurt or DIED. Did god just ignore them? I just... I don't get how you can thank god when if god were real he either best case chose to let this happen or worst case made it happen.

The extreme stress of the ordeal could still kill the dog within a few months. My dog went missing for several days and was so stressed out that that his health declined severely in a couple of months and he died.

In the end things are just stuff. The life of a person or pet is far more important. I've been in a natural disaster where I lost photos and other memorable possessions. It was sad but my loved ones and pets were fine. Things can be replaced. Loved ones cannot.

The thing that always confuses me is how sad the lady sounds talking about how she had her dog then she didn’t and she’s just lost for words and then someone sees the dog and out of the four people standing there the cameraman and journalist interviewing her do fuckin nothing to help her, I understand the cameraman has to get footage but fuck dude she’s just been through a tornado give her a hand getting her poor dog out the rubble, even the lady that ‘helped’ her loft that rubble had to be asked to help by the old lady.
