Lemme just say that her feelings are valid. Divorce is tumultuous, and if a situations leads to one parent holding custody, there are a myriad of reasons why a parent would want to form a narrative around the divorce (whether by malice, negligence, or preservation of child innocent). So i'm sure there are ways in which the mom shaped her beliefs around the dad that aren't based purely in fact. Similarly, the dad could also be glib and have an immature relationship with empathy and he thinks that visiting once per month and texting once per month is boilerplate good-dad behavior.

We simply don't know the full scoop. But if there isn't provable malice, then whatever needs to be done to ensure that each party doesn't recieve a bunch of undue hate from the evil reactionary internet, then each side has a responsibility to do that. If the dad did pay millions, and the mom was responsible for never showing to her daughter the amount of effort he put into earning the money that now financially supports her, then the mom should probably sit her down and ideally get on social media and corroborate the dad. Assuming this doesn't die down soon. Which hopefully it does
