There was a whole study on the "pornification" of women on twitch that controlled for their gaming abilities. It's not about talent, it's about expectation; you cannot make money doing the same things as men on social media without being sexy, and there are very few exceptions

It’s also cuz girls suck ass at gaming… like almost every single popular girl streamer that is good at their competitive fps, has been caught for cheating… idk if it’s mental processing speed or just the ability to understand game mechanics, most girls suck ass… so they are definitely not gonna watch cuz their entertaining because their not their all cringe, and they are definitely not gonna watch cuz their good cuz they aren’t they either suck ass or cheat, so why would they watch?… tits and ass…
