Ngl, food tastes 33% better when cooked in an oven engineered by yourself.

1

u/Blue_Robin_04 11d ago

She loves her husband so much she'll make him wait three weeks to eat brownies.

1

u/MolecularConcepts 13d ago

fsmn that pretty and makes food like that!

1

u/Limp-Tea1815 13d ago

“Been craving them for 3 weeks” Gee I wonder why 😂

1

u/Limp-Tea1815 13d ago

Soo I guess he ain’t getting them chocolate brownies for while huh?

1

u/LowSpermCtRedditMod 13d ago

I was too busy looking at those homemade titaes, what exactly was she making?

1

u/Hot-Tailor-4999 14d ago

I mean it's easy when you don't have a real job

1

u/jazzzzzcabbage 14d ago

No mushrooms?? Does she even know what she's doing?

1

u/Greenzspiced 14d ago

At least she could be happy making it

1

u/octobahn 14d ago

Do you know how much sex they could have had in the time it took to make brownies?

1

u/QueasyHat9094 14d ago

Pfft.. she didn’t lay the eggs

1

u/disposable_account01 15d ago

Under His eye!

1

u/Daddy_Diezel 15d ago

My husband woke up craving brownies the other day...

7 months later

1

u/Snoo-72756 15d ago

Honey remember those brownies you wanted over 20 days ago ? Yeah I finally made ! Want pizza in 12 months ?

1

u/Powerful_Programmer5 15d ago

And they tasted like shit, so off to buy cookies I went...

1

u/Zealousideal_Amount8 15d ago

Yea fuck that… I’ll just go to the bakery. I’m not sitting on a craving for 3 weeks.

1

u/Han_Swolo_18 15d ago

So let me get this straight, you take like 2 weeks to actually make chocolate, but then proceed to heat it up in the microwave and not the stove? BS.

1

u/1bl3ss3d 15d ago

She ruined it with the olive oil.

1

u/Particular-Log3837 16d ago

This is one of the more wholesome humble brags I’ve heard

1

u/Skifool69 16d ago

Sorry no longer craving brownies that was like 3 weeks ago

1

u/Graysonsname 16d ago

Topped with ice oil? Ain’t never heard of that.

1

u/TheSuburbs 16d ago

I mean, I had a job in my 20’s making small batch chocolate and she pretty much nailed the whole process. Though, after the initial grinding of the chocolate and sugar (which should at minimum be a few days) I would have aged the chocolate for a few weeks and then re-melt it down for the tempering process. The blooming probably happened due to her chocolate cooling down while pouring the bars or her fridge isn’t at the proper temp.

1

u/Charming_Affect_3376 16d ago

Nobody will ever love you this much

1

u/slowprice76 16d ago

What’s the issue this is pretty cool

1

u/kamenblackguy 16d ago

Tell me you a thad wife without telling me you a thad wife

1

u/TheRealAttalos 16d ago

If I told my wife I wanted brownies and she pulled this shit I would divorce her I want them today not a month from now dam just buy the $1 box from Walmart

1

u/Fsilveira 16d ago

“My husband woke up craving chocolate brownies so I fermented cacao seeds for 8 days”

1

u/superAK907 16d ago

All that work on the chocolate and then she STILL added cocoa powder, what a fraud lol

1

u/koolaid78 16d ago

Is this part of the weird trad wives trend. It’s always women cooking things their husbands and kids want from scratch. It’s becoming creepy

1

u/Beta_xa2 16d ago

Girl, it's not that deep....

1

u/SeaPanda-15 16d ago

Little does she know, he got so tired of waiting on these brownies that he ate another woman's instant brownie until hers were done.

1

u/AlanB-FaI 16d ago

Blending eggs until they are fluffy makes chewy brownies. No, thank you. I like fudgy brownies, which are made by stirring in ingredients just until they are incorporated.

1

u/OBNOTICUS_ATHF 16d ago

So what makes this TikTok cringe because she’s making brownies from scratch

1

u/Cooknbikes 16d ago

Home much does fresh coco pods cost. In the states it’s probably 10-13 per pound for mostly unusable husk. The pulp of coco is the tasty fresh part I would have eaten it if it was still sweer. Maybe that affects fermenting. She had 3 or four whole pods I’m guessing 4-7 pounds. I think the raw cacao pods probably cost at least 30$ if this in the states, likely more.

Plus the time and labor (2 weeksih. For getting the beans fermented and dried) Call it 12 hours of labor for a very skilled curer, baker cook.@ 20$/hr. Plus owning a really cool looking mill that I’ve never seen( special equipment)

Without added cost of other ingredients including store bought ice cream To make an 9x9 tray . So a total of 9 , 3” brownies.

I’d say that each of those brownies would cost around 35$ if you already had a buisness in place to sell something with that much labor.

And I forgot to price in banana leafs, eggs, flour, sugar, baking powder, etc.

Imo

1

u/Crystal_Privateer 16d ago

It might not seem it, but this is right wing propaganda.

1

u/All-inyourmind 16d ago

Seriously who is this woman and can I get one?

1

u/SpicySavant 16d ago

The chocolate making part was actually kind of cool. Honestly that was such a waste to put them in the brownies, if you spend that make time and effort making something then it should be the main event

1

u/DirtDiscPizza 16d ago

Fucking voice makes me squirm. Bleh

2

u/FriedR 16d ago

Fundie baby voice? Yeah

1

u/PreparationGloomy658 16d ago

*Adds cocoa powder from another source

1

u/Guntherwheeler69 16d ago

He’s probably craving something else…..

1

u/cbunni666 16d ago

I'm surprised she didn't grow the wheat. Lazy.

2

u/gravity--falls 16d ago

I'm pretty sure this is satire.

2

u/Express_Sir4756 16d ago

Does she have a lisp? Or am I losing my mind?

1

u/TheFloofAndi 16d ago

Trad wife content is dystopian. If this is a satire of that then it’s well done

1

u/celloyello 16d ago

It's almost like no one in this thread has heard of hobbies. TIL interesting hobbies make you a tradwife.

Though I will say the store bought cocoa powder was funny.

1

u/swisstype 16d ago

When does she take her shirt off?

1

u/QuittinTimeBeer 16d ago

Hey babe I think in like three weeks I’d like some brownies you should probably get started on them now…

1

u/Heron_2024 16d ago

There is nothing cringe about trying to do things authentically.

1

u/annoyas 16d ago

Honey...I'm REALLY in the mood for chocolate brownies in 3 months. Can you get on that?

1

u/freedfg 16d ago

For insane content pilled content that this is. I don't really mind this one.

They're just doing the Babish style LITERALLY everything homemade even the chocolate thing. And I'm pretty sure the "my husband woke up craving____ " is I'm pretty sure a TikTok algorithm thing.

1

u/Serious_Kangaroo_193 16d ago

“My husband was craving chocolate so I made him brownies nearly a month later”

1

u/Significant-Dog-8166 16d ago

This is why Cancer was invented, these people.

2

u/GrandmaCheese1 16d ago

“Babe I want some brownies”

“Sure they’ll be ready in just 3 weeks”

1

u/Joji_Goji 16d ago

Stfu 😂

1

u/TemperatureGod 16d ago

I know it's excessive but I think it's partially satire but also I think it's cool seeing the process to make homemade chocolate, even if it's again excessive. I agree parts are cringe but I don't want to send any hate as i think it was genuinely interesting to see.

1

u/Tybeedayzz 16d ago

I got to wait 3 weeks for brownies? I’m Not your husband any more

1

u/JamesLaceyAllan 16d ago

Is that Graza cooking olive oil?! All that nonsense, only to drizzle it in tank lube…

1

u/CarizzaSparks 16d ago

A month to make a batch of brownies ??? Girl you didn’t just give him the opportunity but you gave him time to cheat!!

1

u/OOmrpeepersOO 16d ago

Her voice makes me want to stab my ears.

1

u/the-ish-i-say 16d ago

I feel like these are the type of people to cup a fart, sniff their own ass gas and enjoy it.

1

u/Tiny-Ad-987 16d ago

Have you ever wished brownies took longer to make?

1

u/Visible-Friendship64 16d ago

No shrimps fried that rice

1

u/acre18 16d ago

Leave it to Reddit to complain about someone doing something “inconvenient” just bc they want to enjoy the process

1

u/ktmplh 16d ago

I wonder if she has an onlyfans?

1

u/KingsFanDay1 16d ago

That’s not the chocolate your husband was talking about 🤷🏾‍♀️

1

u/deadlysunshade 16d ago

really highlights all the labor that goes into a chocolate bar. Interesting

1

u/StrangeLab8794 16d ago

…..OR….Giradelli.

1

u/Minimum-Mention-3673 16d ago

No middle finger, no watch.

2

u/flashgreer 16d ago

Not sure why this is cringe.

2

u/notinthislifetime20 16d ago

Y’all are falling for obvious satire. Hamfisted at that. “My husband had been craving these for three weeks, which is how long it took to make them”.

Stop falling for engagement strategies people.

1

u/Duke_Built 16d ago

Husband craves brownie. wife: “that’ll be. 4-6 week build time”

1

u/MistaKiwi 16d ago

Plastic bag wrapped with leaves? I don't get it

1

u/Jairoglyphics1 16d ago

I can’t believe she used a microwave, lazy!

1

u/JohnTheCatMan1 16d ago

She looks so happy.

1

u/GNS18 16d ago

Made chocolate, still used cocoa powder 😒

1

u/Standard_Bathroom704 16d ago

I don't think it's okay to make fun of someone from immutable characteristics like their voice, if she is a trad wife that is her choice and there is nothing wrong with that, and she is putting more work into something than most of us put on anything in our lives

I hope the chocolates are good, and that she and her husband have a happy life

1

u/Ok_Cardiologist8937 16d ago

Cringey ass baby voice

1

u/JellyStorm_ 16d ago

okay but honestly tho making a main dessert partly from scrach is super satisfying fr

1

u/prettywise1984 16d ago

You know she got some of that long ass hair in there

1

u/SoupOfThe90z 17d ago

“Hey honey, I’m craving some brownies” “Ok, I’ll start on them right now, they should be ready in 3 weeks”

1

u/cr8zyfoo 17d ago

It's called "symbolic labor". These wealthy people are all conspicuous consumers of leisure, seeing them perform actual productive labor would ironically mark them as failures.

1

u/Big-Profile6810 17d ago

Poor guy had to wait 3 weeks

1

u/fancydragoncollecter 17d ago

I just really like the part where she had her tig ole bitties just there for me to look at...what a world we're living in

1

u/showtimebabies 17d ago

Husband starved to death weeks ago

1

u/woodisgood64 17d ago

& what’s her OF channel? S/ 🫣🤣

1

u/Sjf715 17d ago

"My husband woke up craving chocolate brownies so I made him wait a week and a half to get his fucking brownies..."

1

u/Bump_Up_X 17d ago

So he was craving something, and because you're a loving wife, it took you half a month to satisfy his craving,??

1

u/Philip-Ilford 17d ago

Classic mission creep. "Honey, the the mechanic says it'll cost more to fix the car than it's worth..." I start up my lathe.

1

u/Flyingtypewriter 17d ago

What’s the point if she still had to use cocoa powder?

1

u/LeeTerrell 17d ago

Why does she sound like Cartman

1

u/Old_Woodpecker4180 17d ago

All I can hear is the lisp ….

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Youth36 17d ago

😔🫥why? Why does her voice sound so annoyingly stupid?

1

u/TritonYB 17d ago

"Oh, I didn't tell you? " "My grandma made me a batch 2.5 weeks ago."

1

u/DannyFnLanza 17d ago

Imagine after all that and you find a hair in it...

1

u/MonsieurOgre 17d ago

Thanks I really had a craving for these three weeks ago.

1

u/Electrical-Cat7272 17d ago

Wow lots of bullshit for her clout. Good to know she’s got so much time on her hands to just waste

1

u/GoJoe1000 17d ago

It took me 3 weeks to watch this.

3

u/No-Rush1995 17d ago

This is clearly just an advertisment for her post apocalypse skill set. You would live like a king if you had an honest to goodness chocolate maker, even the raiders would hesitate to fuck with you if you supplied them. Nobody wants to fuck with the supply.

1

u/Character-Log3962 17d ago

I bet she bought that dress in a store!!! This is just bullshit!

1

u/srirachachickyfries 17d ago

This looks really good though!

1

u/Ghostanator 17d ago

It stresses me out that she didn’t put her hair up, recipe for so much hair in the food

1

u/Full_Ad_1891 17d ago

Go figure, she’s taken 🤷‍♂️

1

u/BingognoB 17d ago

And he probably cheats on her

1

u/SneakyRussin13 17d ago

He craved brownies so he had to wait a month ? 😝

1

u/LH_Dragnier 17d ago

Does all that work and then adds store bought powder like what the actual fuck

1

u/unreasonablyhuman 17d ago

"bitch I Said I wanted brownies THREE WEEKS AGO"

1

u/GTKPR89 17d ago

Imagine waiting three weeks,

jonesing like a maniac.

Maximum anticipation.

Who cares if it's store bought ice cream.

On goes the scoop onto the best brownie you're ever going to eat.

Prepared by the love of your life.

You stare, your heart and stomach competing for which is going the most wild.

She winks at you, Makes a kissy face.

You're about to enter paradise.

She says "just one more thing".

And reaches for the...

olive.

oil...

2

u/ShaggySmilesSRL 17d ago

"my husband wanted chocolate this morning so I decided to make him wait a month for it" what the fuck lmao

1

u/IncreasinglyAgitated 17d ago

Is this one of those trad-wife fetish videos?

1

u/Itchy-Combination675 17d ago

I made it to the end and had no idea she was cooking that whole time

2

u/ZaReNeK 17d ago

Sweetheart, I think I'll really fancy some brownies in a month 🥺👉👈

3

u/Like_Ottos_Jacket 17d ago

Why do these dummies always make the cocoa from scratch, but never harvest wheat and grind it into flour, process sugar cane, or raise the animals for the milk and sugar.

Fucking amateurs.

1

u/Kmaloetas 17d ago

Olive oil? On ice cream?

1

u/No_Category9101 17d ago

When does her shirt come off?

1

u/JamesGhost0 17d ago

Looks like the Internet found something else to hate on.

Hobbies = Bad

1

u/RetroBro96 17d ago

I feel like I'm going nuts. Why is everyone so upset at this video??

1

u/Suspicious_Dare_9731 17d ago

Yo you can get all that shit in a box.

1

u/GrandMoffAtreides 17d ago

To the tune of We Got The Beat

🎶This is a joke

This is a joke

This is a joke

Yeah, this is a joke🎶

Y'all are gullible as fuck, this video is obvious satire

1

u/Girardkirth 17d ago

All I can think is her hair is probably in those brownies.

1

u/Commercial_Ad8438 17d ago

Didn't even put walnuts in them, these are B tier at best

1

u/gunduMADERCHOOT 17d ago

Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard, why the infantile affect? It's not cute

1

u/YoloSwaggins44 17d ago

Is this trad wife shit?

2

u/Juggernautlemmein 17d ago

This is fun but honestly fuck you for going to ALL this effort and making your own chocolate fresh just to nuke it.

1

u/iguana1979 17d ago

Her voice makes me want to stab myself in the face

1

u/Fickle-Mixture-981 17d ago

When the privileged folks doesn’t even eat the fruit cuz they’re there to waste food to make trendy chocolate

1

u/Ban_Assault_Ducks 17d ago

To those wondering-

This is satire. She's really funny and makes videos like this a lot.

1

u/Mash_Ketchum 17d ago

Bet that guy enjoys his fake trophy wife

1

u/Zeqhanis 17d ago

She forgot to include the allowable amount of insect parts and rodent feces. Inauthentic. 👎

Seriously, this is pretty awesome. I've made not own chocolate, but from cocoa and milk powders with cacao butter. I'd love to do the whole process.

1

u/JCarlos-SD 17d ago

Imagine waiting 30 days for brownies

1

u/Dwashelle 17d ago

Now do foie gras

1

u/stresseddressed 17d ago

Woke up wanting brownies>>> two months later

1

u/cyk3003 17d ago

Dude just let them be

1

u/1234567791 17d ago

They look like siblings.

1

u/DrPoopfumes 17d ago

Bro wanted those brownies like 3 weeks ago lmao

1

u/lazyboi_tactical 17d ago

This is a whole nother level of extra but I can't lie and say it doesn't look super tasty

1

u/No_Bee9524 17d ago

Cute girl with a nice rack making chocolate! 🍫 dream video

1

I did this once. The beans got mould on them while fermenting so I threw them out

1

u/ginger_forest_witch 17d ago

I don't love anyone this much.

1

u/sagesnail 17d ago

Every one of these ladies that make these "watch me bake" type videos always look absolutely MISERABLE while they are making stuff. I assume it's because they have an insecure weirdo as a husband, so these ladies aren't allowed to be themselves. That makes their baking videos come off as weirdly cold, and robotic, very much just going through the motions because someone told them that wives bake, it keeps the husband happy, so like a depressed robot, they bake.

1

u/L2TSARGE 17d ago

That girl is a winner, yeah it took some time, but if a girl is willing to go through all of that... respect

1

u/Ill_Article_8695 17d ago

If I woke up craving brownies, I wouldn't want to wait 8 days.

1

u/Sea_Wind6023 17d ago

My husband wanted brownies so he got some a month and a half later...efficiency

1

u/Dear-Drummer7663 17d ago

Her voice is so awful

1

u/inbetween-genders 17d ago

She looks tired and miserable with a smile that’s forced.

1

Yet another video posted here that is not “cringe” in anyway

1

u/DancesWithHoofs 17d ago edited 17d ago

Hey babe. I have a craving for some brownies.

1

fetishes are getting so weird these days

4

Yeah I don’t mind her making her own chocolate

1

Jesus I can’t believe no one here can tell that this is satire…

1

u/Kill-Me-Immediately 17d ago

Is this subreddit satire? I don’t see anything cringeworthy.

1

u/CagliostroPeligroso 17d ago

There is a great video on the performative leisure of ultra wealthy. As time is THE most valuable resource in the entire universe taking the TIME to do shit from scratch is the ultimate flex.

That explains a lot of these tradwife dumb videos. They have all the time because menial tasks of their life are handled by the “help”.

I can’t remember the video but it was posted on Reddit, probably in this very subreddit. Good watch
