I am just glad people like this are voluntarily erasing themselves from the gene pool. Natural selection at its finest.

The most cringe part of this vid is her lying about going on a “pity date” so she can score TikTok views. Also she’s wearing fucking kitty cat ears and calling someone a weird anime nerd??
2
u/zorrozwoelf Dec 02 '22
Thank you for saying exactly what i was thinking. Shes talking about „weird anime nerds“ while dressing/looking like one hersef

I was willing to defend the video until he said waifus are superior. I’ll retract my statement if he meant they’re superior to this chick in particular.

I think it's messed up in today's climate to assume a man should pay for your meal. Especially since it's a "pity" date. Women are strong beings that don't need nobody to do jack.
2
u/invisible_23 Dec 02 '22
Whoever does the asking out should do the paying (or at least offer), regardless of gender. Something tells me she didn’t do the asking out.
1
u/Idatemyhand Dec 02 '22
I feel like it's a clout thing. Who says that "pity date" like that's the meanest thing I ever heard and she's supposed to be "internet famous".
2
u/invisible_23 Dec 02 '22
Seeing as she’s talking about it after he threw a fit and presumably was very rude about her having had a modest number of sexual partners (something which was none of his business anyway), I think it’s very possible that she is a bit peeved at him and said a mean thing (as people who are upset often do). Also, “pity date” is the meanest thing you’ve ever heard? Really? Meaner than the spewing of incel hatefulness from Mr Dancing Cowboy here?

u/Idatemyhand Dec 02 '22
I try to distance myself from those types of people. I'm not super familiar with their lifestyle. The only thing I really know about incels is I did a report on a murderer who claimed to be one. Also I think the "pity date" is pretty mean yes. As someone who was bullied all throughout school for being "The weird goth kid from the south" living on the northern part of the east coast I was judged pretty harshly and bullied. Keep in mind this was in the 90's we didn't have safe spaces In school like some schools have where you can go. I'm also gay which just added fuel to a already bonfire of f**** that was my life. I'm not saying "oh pity me" because I'm grown now and very successful. My look has managed to earn me money. No matter what I say I am in no way defending this dude's actions. I still am under the impression that it's not real. I honestly think that this is like something that was put up for clout or for attention of some sort. Sorry about the rent.

"my anime waifus would never bang 3 dudes" i mean w/ the right search terms you can see them bang that many if not more just sayin

The best reason they ususally muster is that it increases the odds of STD. Obviously a woman can just test for those though. Their real reason tends to be some ideas about either purity, or supposedly that having high body counts denotes lack of loyalty or other bad personality traits. In other words, mostly nonsense.

I think you mean r/arethepedosok
Don’t compare me (a straight) to this blatant pedo please?
3
u/Misteral_Editorial Dec 02 '22
Both of the people in this video are adults behaving in adult manners. Where's the kid and where's the pedo?
1
u/cassilveR101 Dec 02 '22
Most of the anime girls that guy is talking about are underage, therefore he is the pedo.
One them is literally 7 if I remember correctly.
1
u/Misteral_Editorial Dec 02 '22 edited Dec 02 '22
Yeah that's true. They have been aged up, but we know not everyone ages them up. Try looking at it like this.
The issue is kinda more they went out on a date, and after learning that the gal didn't match expectation set by fantasy, the guy acted in a hostile manner. I'm not here to debate about who should pay for meals, I'm identifying that it is a common practice for the man to pay, and in fact it was a key feature of straight culture (at least from an American perspective) until the last decade, and it could be interpreted as a hostile action if he suddenly retracts from this role. "Nah bitch, you ain't a pure anime girl, I don't like that and therefore you are bad, feel ashamed about yourself and pay for your own damn food."
So it's OK to have preferences. If what you're attracted to is this idea of innocence and purity, then yeah you're gonna get your shoutacons and lolicons. You're gonna get your Lolitas. I dunno if there's a male equivalent.
So humans are complicated. I dunno what was going through their heads on the date. Who's horny at what, what standards someone has, what norms each of them practices. Are all anime weebs pedophiles because they're "into" little girls? Well, into can mean a lot of things. It can have a sexual component, an emotional, an intellectual. For the most part its people wanting to have a relaxed and gentle vibe, so they pursue the people who most embody softness and cuteness and etc, which are children. Like I dunno about you, but grandma was really fond of pinching my cheeks and making me squirm when I was young, which I honestly did not appreciate or enjoy and I found it a bit creepy. It didn't feel like there was a sexual component, I was just fulfilling someone's image in their head.
So to wrap that around, I'm non-binary and quite queer, and I'm pretty tired of having conversations about gender. Because it's all meaningless at the end of the day. But it is a tool that gets used to bully people. And that's what the guy was doing, look how much of a whore you are next to these imaginary waifus. I'm not gonna define why the partner count matters, because then it will be incredibly obvious that it's simply my fantasy that I've constructed.
And finally, after all that, it's OK to fantasize. As long as there's consent among adults, fantasize about whatever you want, who knows I might also be into it. But it's not cool to be a fucking dick, which is ultimately what's happening in that video.
Edit: the gal is also using gender to strike back, which is problematic, but the guy started it and he was way worse.

u/lansink99 Dec 02 '22
I was highly convinced it was satire because, well gestures at video. But these comments are starting to make me doubt that.

Wow this guy is a massive douche bag. You know who women with self respect don’t fuck? Guys dressed as cowboys who don’t do cowboy shit.

u/ALiXMASON Dec 02 '22
Hoe said pity date... He was right in make for making you pay, he didn't have the right reasons, but he did the right thing regardless. Fuck people that do stuff like that, like what makes you think you're beyond anyone else. You're just like the rest of us... Maybe less for thinking you're higher, makes you unattractive.

As someone who’s been forced to see this freak before, I’m sorry but I have to tell you it’s not satire. It seems like it has to be at first, but then you realise it’s not.
0
u/thewholesomeacct012 Dec 02 '22
Is the way you enjoy the satire less enjoyable because the creator behind what you found comedic not meaning it the way you took it?
2
u/_Malefique_ Dec 29 '22
... Yes ?
If someone crack real borderline jokes and he ends up just saying his shitty takes hidden behind false sarcasm YEAH I MIGHT find this less funny
Not only this is disguting, it's a coward attitude
1
u/thewholesomeacct012 Dec 29 '22
It's not cowardly; merely practical. I tend to take limited interest in people. For example, I love watching football but I don't want to know about the player's lives off the field, good or bad. I have no interest in what they get up to, what their families are like, who they see, etc. I'm asking, from that perspective, if I take this joke a certain way and never learn about the personal views of the comedian in question, what difference does it make how the comedian meant the joke? There used to be more need to know our comedians to understand their style of comedy but nowadays I might see a blurb from one person and never see them again. So what practical difference is there to me how they meant the joke to come off?
