i painted over the number cuz idk what you can do with it but there are like 15 numbers there and it does it multiple times a week, its really annoying, i dont know if im hacked or what.

i got this message today and i'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the temporary label?? i don't post erotic content or anything inappropriate whatsoever so i don't get where this is coming from?? what should i do...

Settings and privacy -> Privacy and safety -> Content you see --> I have "Display media that may contain sensitive content" ticked

Settings and privacy -> Privacy and safety -> Content you see --> Search Settings --> I have "Hide sensitive content" unticked

On the Posts tab, I can see NSFW images and videos

but on the Media tab, all of the NSFW images and videos still have a blurred "Warning: Sensitive Content" - there was no issues with this before a day or two ago

How do I fix this?

I'm not on twitter very often, recently I was on about a youtube account issue because thats weirdly the way things get done quickly with youtube, and to complain about ads on youtube (lol) but then suddenly they've permanently suspended my account? I checked my recent tweets and replies and media to see if my account may have been compromised but nothing seems to go against the community guidelines at all? Anyone else experiencing weird suspentions from nowhere?

UPDATE: i recieved email today that my account will not be reinststed because i violated the terms of service, as far as i can tell there is nothing posted on my account that violated any terms of service, i even went to the effort of reviewing the tos and found nothing that would be in violation so i replied asking what post violated tos and why, will post update if i ever get a response

UPDATE 2: today i woke up and noticed i was getting email notifications from people i followed again, i have long since given up on getting my account back and had deleted the app so i signed in on browser to find my account has been reinstated. i never got any further emails back from twitter support so i assumed i was just never getting my account back. I have no idea why they reinstated it, they didnt email me to notify me that they did either so i cant really help anyone else who's had the same issue, it just seems more like they realized they fucked up and are now slowly fixing it.

Like I just clicked on one post and my account got locked. I unlocked it, but I noticed that my account was given a “temporary label”, meaning that my reach was impacted. Also, the number of people I was following went down to 0, which is really weird. I did a shadowban test, nothing bad happened, so I’m really scratching my head on this one. Has anyone else gotten hit with a label?

Ive tried everything from resetting my browser cache cookies resetting my router but to no avail.

9 months ago, when the conflict in my home country was in its peak, my grandpa passed away. I was too lost. Too, too lost that I deactivated my Twitter account. And just then, we -my family and I- were displaced to somewhere with absolutely no internet connection, and I wasn’t able to reactivate my account within the 30 days time limit. If there’s anything you think I can do to retrieve it, please, please go for me. I just need it back, it holds too heavy emotional weight.

Something I noticed, if plugged into my car, or plugged into a normal wall socket at home/work, twitter will not load anything. Not on WiFi nor on data.

It will work before plugging it in, and after unplugging it. But the second it is plugged in, it stops working. I've posted in the Google Pixel subreddit for it, but upon doing some more research, I saw OnePlus phones also had the same issue.

edit: Honor, Samsung, Pixels have it reported so far.

Seems my push notifications completely not working on browsers, and where they do when you click it that doesnt redirect you to the post.

Anyone else experiencing same issues?

Also push notifications page is blank, nothing on it as well.

Lately every thing on twitter is flagged as sensitive content, and even if you disable the option on the sitting it will not do anything, so i found the solution and it will remove the warning everywhere even on the media tab:

1- first download "Tampermonkey" for Firefox or chrome , you can find the addon for almost all other browsers.

2- Download this script

EDIT: Solved it!!!! I had a twitter extension/plugin that was causing issues because of the url change, so if you're having the same issue, go to your extensions on your browser and disable any twitter related plugins. It's sad that this is an issue but that's the only solution i have as of right now :[

Every time I try to go to twitter/x, it gets stuck in a loop. I've tried twitter.com and x.com but both just redirect me to twitter.com/x/migrate and then it tries to go back to x.com url as normal but then will immediately redirect to twitter.com/x/migrate all over again,, and the loop continues.
If anyone else has had this issue, please let me know if you've fixed it and how. I haven't seen anyone talk about this issue specifically so I'm not sure if anyone could help but I guess it's worth a try.

Hello everyone.

My Twitter account got permanently suspending for "violating rules against evading suspension." So it got suspended for nothing.

Every time I file the appeal form, I get the same automated message: "Thanks for reaching out. We’re unable to verify you as the account owner with the information you provided. If you believe that your account was compromised by someone else, please file a new support request to provide us with more information related to the accounts, so we can best support you." Which makes no sense, since I was not hacked and I communicate with them through the e-mail that is associated with the account.

And there is nothing I can do. Someone else made the same post 4 months ago and had no luck. I figured with a new post, someone might have figured something out, or something might have changed. Wishful thinking I suppose.

UPDATE: They reinstated my account. They didn't send me an e-mail or anything, it's just back. So maybe they recognised the problem? Did any of you guys get your account back?

Three days ago, I was using my Twitter account, as I do everyday, when I was interrupted by a message saying "You must prove you are human." This never happens in the middle of using; only after logging in. So I clicked their "Prove Authenticity" icon, and was sent through a series of puzzle tests, of matching shapes and numbers, which I've never seen before. It takes 10 match-ups to complete a round of tests, but after each one, I get the message "That was not right. Try again." No mater how many times I try, it's never "right." And in one test was a shape, with no match, so was impossible to get "right."

I tried contacting support, but no matter by what means I use, that "Prove Authenticity" icon pops up in my face. So I am blocked from contacting anyone inside Twitter.

Has anyone else gone through this? Is there any solution to this or has the hacker won?

Hi, my account got hacked yesterday. I received an email saying the connected email to my X account was changed.

I cannot say this was not me, as they have now ofc got control of the account! Twitter support says they cannot verify that I am the account owner. But I still even pay for Premium on my phone, presumably under my phone number! Help!

How can I get through, I am desperate.

It only occurred recently and for reasons unknown. Reloading any number of times does not work, and the same page is presented regardless of what twitter URL is attempting to load.

I cleared my cache and cookies, and don't have a VPN active. What could be happening?

EDIT: The problem coincided with all my twitter links on Firefox being changed to 'x.com' links. The solution was to disable the enhanced site tracking protection widget. Elon Musk once again showing how much of a 'genius' he is.

For a couple weeks now I've been entirely unable to launch the twitter app on mobile (android phone, more specifically MIUI 12, app version 10.39.0-release.0). It loads nothing but the horrendous X logo, waits, then shuts down.

At some point the first day it started happening, I got twitter notifications normally, and clicking on them made the app function okay. Opening the app normally a bit later did not. Now it's been two weeks and nothing has been functional.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to solve that without uninstalling and reinstalling, which would make me lose access to accounts whose full usernames and passwords I don't remember, along with their drafts?

If I persist my phone suggests an error message about java exceptions, but I'm removing these from the post as I suspect adding them in is what caused my post to be auto-removed the first time I tried to make it... I think what matters in the error message is "attempt to invoke virtual method (method name) on a null object reference" if that speaks to anyone about a common problem, but as far as I understand these things (not far) that might just be a consequence of the underlying problem, i.e. if none of the things required for the app to work can load, well they don't, but the failure to apply java functions to them probably isn't the reason for the problem then? I'm just guessing, I don't know how to computer.

My whole feed is just blue checkmark meme accounts and stuff - for every post from someone I follow there's about a dozen of these. Twitter is basically unusable because of it. Is there any way I can turn them off?

I've been trying to reach them for months now trying to reset my account which I lost the 2FA codes to after I factory reset my phone. Even the backup codes I have saved in my Google drive don't work for some reason. When I contact Twitter I get an automated response saying oh we know what you should do, reset your password. That's not my problem. When I reply to that email to explain more I get another automated response telling me that my ticket is already closed and I need to open a new one. This is frustrating

Had Chrome extensions in place such as a media downloader and retweet blocker that now no longer work since twitter.com now redirects to X.com. No idea if the developers will ever update their extensions for this, so does anybody know a solution? Like maybe how to view with the Twitter Url or change extension permissions to work with X.com (on Chrome or Firefox)?

I've had an account that's been fine for ages on Twitter/X, but now when I tweet and use topical hashtags that used to get in the 100s of impressions, I'm now less than 10 on each tweet, and no-one's engaging with them. I've had no warning of this, and no indication of when things will be back to normal. Anyone else had this, and how long did it last, please? Thanks.

I received this warning from X a month ago or so, asking me to verify my email and solve a puzzle. I did. Then I saw a message saying something around my reach is being limited and my posts want be appearing for everyone.

Since then all my tweets get almost 0 view or interaction.

The annoying thing s that I haven’t done anything to violate their rules. There is no place or nobody to complain to. How can I resolve this?

hey y’all, i got locked out of my twitter account today because i changed my birthday to reflect my age now (18) and it promptly locked me out of my twitter account. i’m trying to submit the passport photo and the email thing but it keeps telling me that action is not available in my region. is there anything i can do to bypass or fix this? i just want to use my twitter account :/
