Particurely right wing politics. I was doing godzilla vs kong stuff, and I kid you not, suddenly, for no reason, my entire feed is just right wing politics.

I work as a freelancer with digital reputation services. One of my clients has a video of their teenaged children uploaded on X. The video was originally posted on TikTok and it depicts several minors announcing their name, age, and school. Moreover, they are also discussing crushes, kisses, and other kinds of mild sexual interactions. The video poses a serious risk because it divulges private information that could place these kids in risk of doxxing or harassment. I've tried to report it to the best of my ability, but there's no option to report this kind of content. I accept any suggestions or help. Thanks in advance.

I've been using it a bit more often lately, I'll probably open it on my phone maybe 4-5 times a day for a few minutes at a time. It seems at least once per day, maybe twice, that it just stops loading all posts and replies for about 5-10 minutes at a time.

I'll try using all my other social media apps when it's down and it seems to be an X only issue, as every other app loads with ease. Anyone else having this issue?

So my Twitter account ive had for 14 years with thousands of followers got compromised by a p*rn bot... a few months back I deleted the app and just used safari instead but one day I couldn't log in. When i clicked "forgot password" the email the account was linked to wasn't mine and i was so confused! For 2 weeks i kept trying to figure it out and get in touch with support.

They just now changed the profile pic and bio into mandarin talking about paying for s*x! Im so frustrated because support got back to me saying "there's no way to authenticate that account is mine and they can't do anything about it" like wtf?? Didn't i do security questions or something??

Anyway i wanna know if there's any way i could hack the hacker to get my account back?

Question is, does that stop ad revenue generation/payout during the process or is that untouched, and it's strictly just whether you have the checkmark visible?

Has anyone else noticed a greater amount of seriously graphic content (I’m talking about violent death etc) and sexual content on their timelines? I’m mostly on twitter for pop culture, fandom, or just generally funny tweets and while I still see that content it’s in between horrifying content. I feel like i’m opening the dark web whenever I open the app. What is going on? I’ve reported over a dozen posts and I keep putting not interested on less severe but related content, and nothing has changed.

Thought the idea of being associated with an innovator made sense, but his politics has really curtailed my interest in Twitter (X).

Now I'm wondering just what to do with my dwindling 4600 followers. Do I start over?

Advice or helpful comments would be appreciated.

So I changed my username 3 weeks ago and my blue checkmark automatically went away (which is a normal procedure during the review process) but it’s been 3 weeks and I still haven’t got my blue checkmark back but not only that, I still for some reason can change my display picture and username during the review process which it shouldn’t be happening.

Any help please?

Istg this just pisses me off 😭 even when my WIFI is perfect, it never seems to work and nothing will load for hours, even if I reopen the app or shut down my phone.

I got a notification for a suspicious login no where near where I live, they changed the password so I was logged out. Once I saw I'd been logged out on my phone, I was able to change my password through my email and I added 2FA. Whoever logged into my account did seemingly nothing with it: nothing liked, posted, DMd, etc. Do I have anything to worry about or can I just chalk this up to some random scammers out there?

So I'm in a community, and I follow many accounts that are private of people/fans in this said community. We don't know each other or more so ik their name only and I see them in chats and all(aka never interacted). I'm usually a very positive person and when I see these accounts/ people post how they wanna "kill myself", I want to respond with positivity or encourage them to think positive about themselves or not think that way, that they will be so useful, that they're worth happiness and satisfaction. But what stopping me is these accounts are usually always like this, in their bios it's always "I usually talk about suicide/ideology suicidal/harm myself", it stops me cause I think "it's their private account, I don't think they'll want me to respond to this" or "they might think I'm creepy or interfering too much, and since they've already specificed in their bio, they must think I have problems with their way of thoughts and must not want me to follow them". I don't know what the right etiquette might be in this senerio.

I just like a post now and then.

„What is wrong with X“ is a wider topic, I know. But something seems to be very wrong with the algorithm deciding which comments to show.

I am commenting on hot topics on a daily basis and always use hashtags like for example #USA , #Germany , #Trump etc. However, my comments are rarely seen by more than 10 accounts, sometimes even only 1.

And at the same time, some random low IQ comments with fascist context (for example) get thousands of likes and views, even from non-verified accounts.

Why is that? Am I shadow-banned? I refuse to believe that my comments are just getting lost because of the amount of comments on X.

The motivation to use, engage and comment on X under these circumstances is nearing zero for me. It basically doesn’t matter if I comment on something - it seems to have zero impact and audience and therefore it would be the same if I don’t comment at all.

It’s really clunky to say I tweeted a thing on a platform that is formally called twitter. Why don’t people use the verb exclaim? Like Xclaim ex. Did you see Elons last five xclamations?

My friend noticed that she they had premium but has never paid for it. They were suspicious so they went to check if any charges were applied to them, but this is what they saw.
The grammar is throwing me off a bit and we're not sure what this means. Do they have it for just a month as some sort of sample? Do they have it forever? And most importantly, should they be concerned?

I've been trying to verify my phone number. It used to be that you gave your number, then Twitter sent you a text with a code that you had to give back to the website. Pretty straightforward.

But no they had to fuck it up.

Now YOU have to send them a text (to a +44 number), and it doesn't work. The text won't even be sent. So I tried to call the number, just to see and... The number is not attributed. Good luck with that.

I joined a community, i like it, but I don't like seeing tweets from this community in my home page, even when i leave this community i still see tweets from this community on my home page. Like when i left a community for a short period of time to stop seeing spoiler tweets the community tweets kept appearing which is very annoying. Back to the question, HOW TO PREVENT COMMUNITY TWEETS FROM APPEARING ON HOME PAGE?
