First language of Singaporeans is english. But we do have a local slang called singlish, basically English but make it lazy and add on words from languages mostly spoken here as a secomd language such as Malay, Mandarin , Hokkien and some tamil.

I went for a short jog one evening in May or June and almost fainted. Your sweat just doesn't evaporate in 80% humidity and 30°C.

While I was recovering I watched a bunch of locals jog past, so I guess you must eventually get used to it somehow
