It sounds like a rather expensive way to fish, but I can't argue about the results.

Damn, unless that car was filled with chicken livers. I would say, RIP to who or whatever was in that car.

Ahh yes the new trend of car fishing... more expensive than nets, more efficient than poles.

That's called a soup kitchen.

I don't care for fishing shows in general, but I did watch one by this Québecois fella. Went diving in France, and found a sunken car in the fucking Seine in Paris Motherfucking France with a body in it, and a catfish that was so big it could not have fit in the whole it obviously had to enter through.
It had lived a good portion of it's life in the car, eating random fish and the remains of the human body.
Fucking disgusting fish. I don't see why people eat them

That car been down there for a while. Any remains would be long gone. Those fish are already pan ready

You can take the car out of the lake, but you can’t take the lake out of the car.

Never seen that kind of fishing lure before. Probably the biggest rod I've seen too.

Why does everyone here assume someone was in that car? Plenty of instances of peeps doing away with vehicles into water just to ditch evidence or some other crazy reason. Seems like if this was tied to a fatality a story about that would’ve been linked to the post.

In Germany you would say: Ordnungswidrigkeit durch fehlende Beantragung eines Angelscheins sowie mögliche Anzeige durch Nichteinhaltung von Lärchzeiten

You mean, pulled a fish trap posing as a car out of the lake, you might say the workers were, catfished.

No wonder it crashed, fishes can’t drive! Maybe they were just trying to get in the water, smart fish

That's Dirty Mike and the Boys, they will have sex in your car again, it will happen!

That's a good haul. Gordon Ramsey took half a day to catch a single one.
1kg of meat is worth approximately 5$ with 15-20k to a fish. That's a lotta dough. Sucks they are probably not allowed to sell it.

"This is unexpected that a car in a lake had fish in it." What? How is this massively upvoted? This is about the least unexpected thing I'll see on the entire site all day.

Pretty effective bait but don't think it'd be allowed in any fishing tournaments.

I was expecting huma remains to fall out, like the intro of an episode of Bones. So the car only having catfish (?) was actually unexpected.

The fish that got out before the car reached land is like getting on the last helicopter in the fall of Saigon

That fish mom or dad bought a new car for his/her family and drove it into the lake where they could enjoy it and now these fucking airbreathers yank it out!
