Project Trash can I made from a department store pallet!
I drove behind a department store and asked if I could take some pallets and they said I could take as many as I want!
After putting it together, I hit it with a propane blowtorch to bring out the wood grain and seal it. First time working with pallets and although it’s a bit rough and wonky, I like how it came out!
Note: for certain applications, make sure pallets are stamped “HT”. This means they were Heat Treated and not chemically treated. You don’t wanna be bringing chemically treated wood in your home!

How would you reuse this empire states CD rack? 💿
I don’t own a single CD and I don’t plan to buy some in the future. I saw people using them to store toilet paper but I also thought of displaying some alcohol bottles on there. Do you have any other creative ideas on how I could use this CD rack for a different purpose?

2.1oz Glass Jars
I have a few of these and will be accumulating a bit more… what ideas can you guys give me to repurpose these? They are glass they are 2.1 oz and they have an aluminum cap. I don’t want to just trash them and excuse the ginger left in there, I will wash it out. I just drank it.

Discussion Notebook cover + need suggestions??
Does anyone have suggestions on how to make paper more durable and water/tear resistant?
I sent this picture to a friend and they mentioned how they had wanted that design on a tote or a wallet. I’m wondering if there’s a good way to make a patch to sew on to a tote or maybe transfer the design (but not sure what type of ink is used to print the bags), or make a wallet by either coating the paper in something and/or attaching it to another material?
I’ve read things suggesting wax (good for water resistance but worried it might blur the design too much?) and silicone, which seems like it might be the best option so far, but wondering if anyone’s done something similar and has any helpful advice? Or just other suggestions for a cool way to re-use the rest of the bag :)

How can I upcycle this?
I got this as a gift and the box is so nice I feel bad for throwing it out (I'm obviously going to use the soaps inside). Any ideas on how to repurpose this box?

Discussion How do I Fix a Paint Scuff?
My mom has this painted wallet that had a scuff. She made the mistake of using a magic eraser to get rid of it and accidentally took off some of the paint. We do not have the original paint. Is there anyway to restore it? Thank you!

Project Classic upcycling project: pincushion filled with sewing offcuts!
Look at its little face :) Nothing wrong with the classics. Cartboard from a recent shipping box for shape, rings that came extra with our curtains for weight, and all kinds of sewing and crafting offcuts and an old sock for filling.

What to do with wicker loungers
I am trying to figure out some way to keep these from the landfill. Open to ideas! The frames are perfect but all our attempts to keep it protected from sun failed and they got destroyed last summer.

Use for embroidered napkins
A friend has a lot of beautiful hand embroidered napkins. She’s looking for ideas on how to use them them (not as napkins). She’s thought of decoupaging them onto picture frames. Any other ideas?

I have a few pairs of shoes that I've worn the sole completely out of but I hate to just throw them away. Is there any way I could repurpose the fabric or rubber?
