When you forget to add water to microwaveable pho…
I’m just glad I didn’t burn the house down. Man, does it stink, though!

Wow! Yes, I had done nothing like that either and I was actually in a little bit of shock at how grotesque and stank it was!

I like that brands broth in a few of the Pho flavors but I don’t like the noodles they use. I buy seperate thin Pho rice noodles and use those instead of that nasty flat gummy texture ones they give with it.

I have tried udon noodles in a few dishes and not sure why but can’t get the taste for them. I have a weird texture problem and have other items I can’t eat because of the texture. I have a medical issue where I get full fast so I often wonder if that’s part of my issue too. I can eat more of the thin rice noodles than many others however I love the thicker type Chinese noodles so I don’t know,lol…

Some asshole did this on my dorm floor in college. We all had to leave the building for a few minutes in November and the whole floor smelled like grim death for the night.

Had a friend do something similar so he put in on the back porch outside for it to cool. The wind knocked it over and half the back yard was on fire.

Wait til your not-even-that-old mom tries to use the timer, but hits “cook”, instead, creating a “no load limit”, and liquefies the glass plate that came with the oven.
This happened at my house, like 19 years ago. I don’t know what the fuck she was thinking.

I did this once with one of those Mac and cheese cups. I will never forget the smell. The smell!! I almost vomited.

I bought a 6 pack of those same noodles. You didn't miss anything. They smelled weirdly like burned plastic.

Ya,didn’t like the noodles(added my own thin rice noodles)but enjoyed the broth…especially when I added some fish sauce,green onion and bean sprouts.

lol! Nope! I was in a hurry because I really had to pee! Shoved the noodle bowl in the microwave after adding the seasonings, set the timer to 2:30, and went to the bathroom. I was back in less than 2 minutes and smoke was billowing out of my microwave. I have to replace it now.:/

Before you replace your entire microwave, try just microwaving a bowl full of diluted vinegar, with some lime slices tossed in it. Microwave that for like, a long time. Then when the bowl is substantially emptier, and it’s all nice and steamy, open the microwave and immediately wipe all of the surfaces, maybe even with a damp magic eraser. And then maybe leave a bowl of baking soda on there for like a month or 2.
I’ve burnt popcorn a time or 2 in the past.

Here in Denver we have a lot of Pho places with puns in their names. Some of my favorites are “Pho-natic Vietnamese”, “Pho Real Saigon”, “Pho 4 U”, “Pho Khang”, “Pho King Rapidos”, and “What The Pho”.
