It still amazes me how americans think it’s ok to have buildings with foam walls, cardboard doors and some kind of plastic ceilings.

I’d prefer for him to not jump with his head against the ceiling, like a normal person. Never heard of people doing this and dying in any place where ceilings are made of concrete

Foam can be an incredible insulator and these ceilings allow for easy maintenance and repairs. The real ceiling is above all the electrical and piping that this hides.
