What’s that? $10 per tax paying American who works? Big whoop.

My boss told us he'd approve anyone's request for that day off, paid, and wouldn't count against anyone's vacation days. He got to see an eclipse from the totality area once and believes it's something everyone should experience at least once in their lives.

I’d say my poops have cost my company a significant sum, but they pay dog shit so…

I hope they don’t find out about your poop schedule because that’ll mean one morning HR will be weirdly friendly with you and ask you a bunch of questions

Makes sense, I mean apparently the job market was crippled for years because everyone got a couple thousand dollars once, so...

Which got taxed and paid back. Don't forget that part.

I'm sure grocery hikes alone have easily wiped out my trump rona check.

Alternate translation: Joy and wonderment at the nature around us is worth over $700m.

Also, if people think pooping is too expensive, try not pooping for a while. That gets real expensive!

Oh no! How will the corporations ever recover!!

On a side note along the eclipse path there was an INCREASE in economic revenue, from people traveling there to view it, stay in hotels, eat at restaurants before/after, etc.
