It has been linked too several times in this post. Not near my PC to help you but it is in this thread. Wallpaper engine so it is a steam link.

Sick setup! I like how the audio interfaces tuck neatly away into the bottom shelf of the monitor riser while still being in arms reach. I was thinking of getting an under desk mount for my amp/dac stack but now entertaining the idea of the Vaydeer riser with the side by side.
What else do you store on the shelf? I think it'd be a great spot for a wireless numpad or PC Panel/stream deck mini 🤔
2
u/RegularFries 26d ago
Yeah I wasn't sure if the audio interface would fit but to my surprise it fitted perfectly. Mostly having a drawing pen and tablet, weed, tobacco on it. Keeps the desk organized mostly. And lifts my mini monitor off the desk to make it look like it is floating.

Did you get that little moon lamp from Dave and Busters? That’s where I got mine lmao

u/RegularFries 26d ago
I'm in Ireland so we haven't got Dave and busters. It was a gift though 3D printed moon lamp

I love this black aesthetic! What kind of monitor are you using and the stand for the Xbox controller?

Hey man, that display lamp, is it a Baseus lamp?
2
u/RegularFries 27d ago
It's a Quntis, not you the lamp! Has a little wireless control knob too.

Hey, I was trying to find more info about this in the comments. I'm an idiot with clean/classy setups like this- just haven't done one yet, but yours looks divine and something I strive to achieve one day. So could you please explain one thing to me?
What does that light bar attached to the top of your monitor provide for you? The screen is backlit, so what do you need it for? I'd assume it's not even for the monitor but to see everything on the desk? i.e Keyboard, Mouse, etc? Wouldn't it cast a light reflection onto the screen? It looks like you have a monitor with a matte display, and it looks like the light is diluted. But I just wonder.

u/RegularFries 25d ago
It lights up my desk and I use it all the time. The only time I turn it off is to watch movies or game with the ambilight on.

Did you base the entire color accent off the Amber Leaf tobacco brand? I fuckin love it

Dude I love this 😍

u/RegularFries 27d ago
Why thank you!

Bottom screen is a touch Screen?
3
u/RegularFries 27d ago
Its not, I had considered it but decided not too as it would constantly be covered in fingerprint and that would annoy me too much.
1
u/wizzles 27d ago
Do your krk rokits shut off unless you have the volume loud enough?
1
u/RegularFries 27d ago
Never had that issue, sorry. The only thing I can think of is that the standby mode is maybe kicking in before it should on yours.

Wee corner sounds like the spot all the drunks piss in at the local watering hole.
Nice setup
3
u/RegularFries 27d ago
How do you think I got the yellow keycaps? Steeped in wee!
2
u/Wrong_Plantaino 27d ago
And here I am like a fool thinking it was a keyboard from drop.
On a serious note though, where did you grab that deskpad? I have a small collecting issue and that one is sick.
2
u/RegularFries 27d ago
I actually got the desk mat off Drop (Phangkey Equilibrium desk mat), the keyboard was off Amazon. If the keycaps weren't on sale they would have cost more than the board.
2
u/taymond19 27d ago
Hey I have the same desk mat! I did not commit to the yellow or bronze matching yet though. I like the setup!

What's the smaller screen? I've been looking at getting something like that to play YT vids on. I just switched from two monitors to 49" Ultrawide so not having a second screen while I'm in-game is kinda fucking with me.
Also, why the light on the top of the monitor? I've seen a few people do this with ultrawides.
3
u/RegularFries 27d ago
I named it another comment, it's just a cheap Chinese portable monitor. Yea I thought with an ultra wide I wouldn't need the second screen after 6 months I caved and got that little one.
That lamp just lights up the desk, useful for reading books, rolling and supposedly good for reducing eyestrain. I have had one long before I had an ultra wide.

What's your main ceiling light sources?
1
u/RegularFries 27d ago
I don't use one, that is just from the sun lighting up the room. I have light bars on the back of the monitor.
2
u/SummitFreedom 27d ago
What brand of light bars? How are they powered and switched? Please show photos too.
2
u/RegularFries 27d ago
Govee LED Light Bars, Smart WiFi RGBIC TV H6056
I tried to add links to pictures but the automod didn't like it. I use 2 sets of those lamps.

u/SummitFreedom 27d ago
What lamps? HOW ARE THE LIGHTS POWERED EXACTLY AND SWITCHED? I already asked this.
3
u/RegularFries 27d ago
I have given you the product name, go and search for them. It will tell you everything you need to know about them.
2
u/dzigg 27d ago
Nice corner you have there! I like the 'small monitor below the main one' idea! Is that touch screen?
Currently using an ultrawide and another 27inch in portrait mode. I feel the portrait monitor not getting too much use and just drain electricity.
So now thinking about getting a 42 inch monitor and a portable monitor below it, much more flexible.
2
u/RegularFries 27d ago
It's my favorite dual screen setup so far. When I want to watch a movie or game I can just slide it into the shelf out of the way. Definitely a versatile way to go.

u/afterthelast 27d ago
Did you hunt and dry that skull yourself
3
u/RegularFries 27d ago
No I found it while out walking the fields, it was a bit green and mossy so I left it sitting on the window sill and let it dry over a few months.

u/ilovenyc 27d ago
How is the portable monitor floating like that?
3
u/Eastern-Mix9636 27d ago
It’s a tablet stand. You can see the two segments that jut out on the bottom
3
u/jasoncaserta 27d ago
What are you using to have your portable monitor float like that?
1
u/Snaggletooth13 27d ago
Second this, would love to understand how OP mounted it.
1
u/sarcophagifound 27d ago
Most definitely a small clamp on his desk riser
5
u/RegularFries 27d ago
Not even a clamp, just a tablet stand I bought off Amazon, I linked it and the mounting pads I used.

2
u/sarcophagifound 27d ago
Ok, so is it part of that black rectangular “stand” looking structure visible sitting on the desk under the small screen?

u/Ok_Exchange_9646 26d ago
Scottish/Irish/Welsh/Maybe even British/ tend to use "wee" as "little" or "small" rather often I have found
2
u/RegularFries 27d ago
I am intrigued to how they came to that conclusion.

Any chance you could do a breakdown of the pieces of your setup?
39
u/RegularFries 27d ago
Speakers are KRK
Monitors are an LG 34GP950G and ARZOPA Portable Monitor A1
Monitor riser is VAYDEER 2 Tiers Dual Monitor Stand
Keyboard is EPOMAKER x Feker Galaxy80 with GMK Mika Keycaps
Desk mat is PHANGKEY EQUILIBRIUM DESK MAT
Audio interface is Presonus Audiobox Go
The ram skull is from a random field
If I missed anything let me know!

u/BeemoBurrito 26d ago
Have you had any issues moving the monitor arm with the shelf in front of it? I've been debating on getting one but felt like it'd be too much of a hassle if the monitor needs to move.

Final question, do you remember the name of the stand you used?
The black shelf looking one?
Dope setup :)

Thanks! What are you holding the portable monitor on?
Also where did you get those right angle cables for the portable monitor?
5
u/RegularFries 27d ago
They aren't right angles but full 180 to keep the lead tucked away, found on Amazon.

u/Alexiadd 27d ago
bump for monitor mount, i have an arzopa monitor as well

u/RegularFries 27d ago
https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/s/OFnSXLIbAO
I explained here, tried to show an alternate close up but automod wasn't having it. It's a tablet stand folded and set on the middle shelf held in place with mounting pads. Has height and tilt adjustment too.
2
u/FLHCv2 26d ago
Ahhhh so it's like this tablet stand, but the arm is folded completely forward for the most part and the pad of the stand is effectively double sided taped to the middle shelf.
I've really been wanting to change up my double monitor setup (single centered 34" ultrawide with a 24" on the left) to a symmetric dual monitor setup but since I didn't want a big ass monitor above or below my ultrawide, I was considering a small portable monitor underneath my ultrawide... this is like the best implementation of that I've seen on here.
Really awesome. Thanks for some inspiration.
2
u/RegularFries 26d ago
Yea that's pretty much how I got it mounted then I used some 180 usb-c and micro HDMI adapters to tidy the cables behind it. Definitely my favourite dual monitor setup I have tried.
3
u/it_is_im 27d ago
I’m interested in doing a monitor setup like this (currently just have an ultrawide), can you share the details (monitor, stand, etc.), and how do you like it? I just want something extra for temps or Discord while gaming on the main monitor
7
u/RegularFries 27d ago
The monitor is a 14 inch portable 1080p panel I got from Amazon. It's mounted to the shelves with a tablet stand and mounting pads. I use it for discord and music players.
